Hopefully you'll be turning up to the protest to add your voice. We all need to make the effort and we all need to do whatever we can to bring about change. If we do nothing then nothing will change, if we do something then we have a chance, no matter how small the chance actually is.

That ship sailed long ago. And it's hardly a problem unique to NUFC either. But it is particular sad to realise that it was the fans of this club which actually managed to organise a takeover of an ineffective & unambitious regime to install SJH not too long ago. Maybe folks need to read up on just how that takeover was achieved, and give the AshleyOut folks some pointers. Sad to say it was just before my time, but no doubt I'l be pilloried for not knowing how it was done or being willing to research it - you're either part of the solution or part of the problem, right? You don't know how the club was taken over yet you tell people to research how it was done, why? The club was basically owned by a group of shareholders who had very little money and John Hall tracked them down (with the help of others, one being a forum member) and offered them money they couldn't refuse. It took years, the threat of relegation to the 3rd division and a man with more money than the people who effectively owned the club so it's irrelevant to our current setup and what would be required to get Ashley out.

Personally, I think we need to make the club toxic to Ashley and his shitty brand, how we do that is another question. We also need to keep at it once we start because nothing is going to happen just because we want it to. Ashley has to know he's hated and we're not putting up with his shit anymore. People think that the crowd size doesn't matter and that's bullshit. If the size of the crowd didn't matter we wouldn't have 10 year season tickets which lock you in after a certain date each year. I think the crowd being irrelevant is just an excuse for people to carry on going to the match.

We're shit and a pointless club but that doesn't matter as long as we're not thought of as being fickle.

Sackpardew was a success, he's no longer here and they are part of the reason for that. As for the club being destroyed to get rid of Ashley, it already is being destroyed by him you clown. He's shit on just about everything which was good at the club and we're just left with a shell of the club that he purchased. We're no longer a club setup to even try and compete, we're a club setup to advertise his tat and drift along.

Ashley is a cock. Not once have I said otherwise. But relegation last time didn't get rid of him, why would another relegation be any different? Been s*** supporting Toon this season.
