Managing us could still be a great job, we've stuck with Pardew who has been s**** for 3 years out of 4. The only problem we have is regarding players going and players coming in and I don't think we're a million miles from getting that right. A new manager and Carr really should be able to work together, all it needs is for a manager to say go and find me a certain type of player and report back for the manager to decide which one to go for.

I see it as one of two things. He's either meant it and let his mouth go when under the influence or he's been taking the piss out of the journalist while pissed.

I agree he has nothing to gain, he's heaped more pressure onto Pardew and himself.
