  1. It’s interesting that one of the worst performing teams in our table is the West Ham 2006-07 side, the only team in our list to be knocked out in their first European tie. Even without any European commitment after September, they still only managed to accrue 14 points by December and were 3 points from safety when they sacked their manager – Alan Pardew. Christ.
  2. sacking Pardew? Possibly.
  3. Anybody know what this @sackpardew is about on twitter?
  4. 6 people have voted for him to stay, as far as I'm aware not one has said why and I would love to hear the reason for it, if they can even come up with one at this stage. Even if they can, I doubt it will be because he's worth keeping and they can see anything in him.
  5. It's a sad indication of just how bad things are when the only pleasure you get out of football is seeing your own team lose. A team that some have supported for decades and even when we've actually been in a worse state as a club. I'm not saying this as a throw away comment, I have never known us ever have a worse manager and I will gladly see is getting beat if it hastens his departure from the club. Things will never improve while he's here for anything more than a short spell, any improvement will always be a blip followed by garbage because that's what he's about, it's what he does and he's not going to change now. He's too arrogant to see his flaws and he'll never correct them while he can't see them.
  6. 500-4, I honestly didn't expect that, I thought possibly 3 to 1 wanting him out, not 125 to 1.
  7. I can only guess that it was part of a shares or loan deal.
  8. http://metro.co.uk/2014/09/07/why-rangers-old-boy-barry-ferguson-is-so-wrong-about-newcastle-united-owner-mike-ashley-4859820/ Why Rangers old-boy Barry Ferguson is so wrong about Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley It seems outspoken former Rangers midfielder Barry Ferguson is ready for his old club to get in to bed with Mike Ashley. He couldn’t be more naive if he thinks the famous Glasgow side will be treated as anything other than an advertising hoarding, just like Newcastle United. Sports Direct tycoon and billionaire Magpies owner Ashley has recently bought the naming rights to Ranger’s iconic Ibrox stadium for just £1, amid rumours the renowned wheeler dealer is interested in investing in the Scottish Championship club. Ferguson, like many Rangers fans, was angry the chief executive Charles Green sold the naming rights for just £1 and then added insult to injury by claiming the historic stadium name could be the latest club to be named after Sports Direct following the Toon and more recently Oldham Athletic. In the former Scotland international’s recent column for the Daily Record he seems to be blinded by Ashley’s billions and is under the misguided impression the businessman could bankroll a Rangers revival. Ferguson believes Ashley is ‘too smart’ to make a mistake like changing the stadium’s name and wouldn’t make the same mistakes he’s made on Tyneside. He claims Ashley wouldn’t want to ‘drive a wedge’ between himself and the supporters. Ferguson also makes several inflammatory remarks about United proclaiming the Toon Army have treated Ashley unfairly after the his millions have “bankrolled” the Magpies, and the thousands of devoted Geordies need a “reality check” if we believe we’re going to ever be competing for trophies. Well, sorry Barry, it’s you and any Rangers fans who believe Ashley has the club’s interests at heart that need a reality check. The only thing Ashley is interested in is lining his pockets and he doesn’t care who gets in his way. Ashley sent shockwaves across Tyneside when he ended more than century of history by classlessly renaming St James’ Park the Sports Direct Arena and desecrating a little bit more of the club’s soul. Allegedly to showcase the stadium to potential sponsors, Ashley switched the name in November 2011 then a year later rubbed salt into the wound when he announced a supposedly lucrative but certainly controversial sponsorship deal with pay day lenders Wonga, leading to fall out with fans and players alike and even leading to calls for action from the House of Commons. Ferguson should know better and if he had any sense he wouldn’t want Mike Ashley anywhere near Ibrox or Rangers.
  9. None of us want to see us lose deep down, it's just that most think it's hopefully short term pain for long term gain.
  10. Don't worry about your post count, we all started at 0.
  11. No idea but it's back to the way it was originally and votes can be changed if people want to because they've voted the wrong way.
  12. You can change your vote anyway so mistakes can be corrected.
  13. That rules you out, at least I got you to vote and post.
  14. I noticed who was in here when the votes were cast, suspiciously one of them has never posted but has voted 11 times, the other has 2 posts and voted once.
  15. I think MickMack and Mattbaldrick have voted "Stay." Sorry to them if I'm wrong but I doubt it.
  16. This one isn't 100% now. OK, it is again.
  17. If anything had been done to change the votes then those who voted "Stay" would have said something, no vote has been changed by anyone other than the person casting the vote. So far 457 people have voted, 457 have voted for him to go.
  18. Christ, overkill goes to a new level.
  19. It doesn't matter, he wants him out.
  20. Even the supporters of other teams have acted responsibly, it just shows that they aren't trolls and part of our online community.
  21. Another milestone, 350-0 and the poll can't be rigged, 350-0 is 100% what everybody has voted.
  22. Especially considering we have fans of other clubs who could vote for him.
