Anyone know where to find highlights of the reserver match (one where Carroll got his hattrick) on Newcastle World? On the match article it says, join newcastle world to watch the highlights of big andy and adam sadler's interview, but where the hell is it?

Main reason is spurs fans tend to totally look down on Newcastle United, slagging us for any reason that they can find. They laugh at us for our 'expectations', saying we are not a 'big club', calling us deluded, based purely on transfer rumours generated by London journalists who are becoming more and more farcical. They are always willing to diss our club, stating how 'bigger' of a club they are even though our league position is similar. For me it is always entertaining to watch a spurs fan, who slates us for being 12th, saying Keegan is a joke and we are a joke of a club, whilst claiming that they're team, on 11th and equal points as us is part of Englands 'big 5'.

F**king mental appointment, but we f**king needed this. You can't deny we needed this.

No,Jose Mourinho doesnt have an official website. The only way for you to find him is through his agent or going to his house. Therefore, the plan is for all of us to dress up as terminal 10 yr olds and march in front of his house, claiming that our dying wish is for him to manage Newcastle. Or we can just send the ultras.

Shearer with Robson as director of football.

I think if you've paid 450 quid for a season ticket, not to mention the cost of away games, to be bored shitless you've got the right to be impatient. People will put up with it if the team wins but they won't if they see them lose trying to stop the opposition from playing. The paying customers are the ones that got Allardyce sacked imo - they want to see the team win or they want entertainment. The teams you mention are far more entertaining than us this season at least imo, and shown more ambition in their football, even if their points tally isn't significantly better. Hmm fair enough argument.

Id easily be delighted if we finished in the top 4 and all our wins were 1-0, than finish 5th downwards with all our wins 4-3 But I'm saying will he be given the time to make us finish in the top 4? Even Mourinho isn't going to bring us 'instant' success, (depending on what success means of course), but I doubt even Mourinho can make us a top 6 side in his first season. We need atleast 1 year of stablity before we start achieving anything under any manager. Would Mourinho be given this time? Big Sam got sacked when we were 11th, yes we had a bad run of form, but we had almost half the season left, and the more time our team got, we probably would have improved. Martin O'Neill was praised after his first season at villa, and our fans were angry that we didn't sign him, but his team finished only mid-table. Yet Big sam gets sacked halfway through his first season when his team was 11th (correct me if I'm wrong, but an improvement from this time last year) because of 'seemingly bad' tactics and boring static football. Mourinho is a tactical genius, but his teams do play boring football, even if we get Mourinho (though I'd be over the moon), for a period of time, we will play boring football and not get results. It will take alteast a couple of months, for our results to start picking up. Yes, THEN we will gladly put up with boring football as we will be winning, but would the Toon fans be able to wait till then?
-
The thing is, the teams who are praised to no end, such as Blackburn, Villa, Portsmouth aren't too much higher on the table than us, and they've had much more time. Why couldn't we put up with Sam for another 2 years? Why is it, that teams such as Blackburn, Villa and Portsmouth who have been performing better than us in the last few seasons, are praised for around the same level of results which gets Big Sam sacked?
-
But will Mourinho be successful without Abramovich's billions? Some of his multi-million pound signings were quite poor, and football-wise we're not where Chelsea was before Mourinho took the job. Ofcourse Mourinho was succesful at Porto without billions, but the way his teams play is very boring and unattractive, will the Toon fans be able to put up with boring football + bad results (until he gets the ball rolling) long enough for him to be succesful?

We're the laughing stock of the premiership!

fuck off

Did we score? Have I missed something? No, but booing after a performance like the one we produced against Liverpool is embarrassing enough, nevermind when we've been the better team. The Liverpool booing was justified imo. There was barely any booing today. They were booing the ref you tard.
-
Did we score? Have I missed something? They weren't booing the team, they were booing the ref who ended the first half whilst we were about to regain possession of the ball with most of our players in Man City's half.

Five year plan? Stalin had two five year plans, one starting in 1928, and one starting in 1938. Starved half the population to death, but it was successful at the end. Sorta like Big Sam I think. We can call him Big Stalin Allardyce from now onwards, we (the fans) will be starved to death (with horrid performances), but at the end of the five year plan we WILL become a succesful club, so stick by Big Sam and his five year plan. I'm definately in for it.

I predict the 2nd of January.

Meh, just a ploy to rest his ankle at the Chelsea match. He'll soon be off to Celtic on loan.

This is quite honestly the most sensible post I have ever seen on any NUFC board. If Mr Allardyce could explain his reasoning behind such negative away tactics and team selections - and it made any sense - then yes - we would give him time. At the moment we make it easy for every single team we play - they know exactly how we are going to play. The way it looks at the moment ain't nice - we are without doubt the worst footballing side in the Premiership. And it really does hurt me to say that. We go out not to lose and the problem is we do lose - and against very very poor teams. But a manager who always has to defend his decisions when things go wrong, loses authority and loses face infront of his players. Managers need to have a bit of stubbornness, they should acknowledge their faults to themselves, but not to the press. I think we all need to f**k off, get a grip and stick by Big Sam for a few seasons.

Well not too fussed that it's off, I think he's quality player but our strikers are better. He'll probably sign for a club like birmingham or fulham and score against us though. XD

A Korean started this thread. Another Korean has added his comments. (hint: they both say "s***") To be fair both of them are clueless and know jack all about football. Cho is one of the best Korean players. Probably the best after Park Ji Sung and possibly Tottenham's Lee Young Pyo. He's good in the air, a good targetman, and despite what people think he DOES score goals, the reason he can't score for Korea is the same reason why our strikers can't score, the whole team is s*** and he gets no supply. Supply is so limited, he only gets around 1 good opportunity per match, if he misses that single opportunity, the whole nation blasts him as wasteful infront of goal. I'd rather start Smith infront of him (though I do think Cho would score more goals than Smith), but I say he can be more of a threat than Ameobi because of his ability to link up with teammates. If we get him I'd put him as our 5th choice striker. Viduka-Martins, Owen, Smith, Cho. Encouraging. Yes but we're hardly trying to sign a 1st choice striker are we? Surely Big Sam is looking for a top midfielder and a backup striker when Martins goes to ACN and Owen gets injured? Quite a sly bit of selective bolding there, but give him supply and he will score goals, he can't score because he gets no supply. Though that is a massive problem with us at the moment. I don't see much truth to this rumour anyway, we really should be concentrating on a creative central midfielder and a right winger to challenge Milner for a 1st team spot.

By the way, he WILL sell shirts in Korea, it doesn't matter if people hate him now, as soon as he joins a premier-league club he'll be instantly transformed from national scapegoat to national hero. Such is the nature of Korean football at the moment.

But you could argue that Man City weren't in as big of a dogshit position as us. They needed a spark of quality management and Sven provided that. We needed more than a spark, we needed a revolution, and we got one ( and it is still happening ) so it can only take more time for us than Man City.

Definitely dissappointed, two shocking pieces of defending ruined the game for us.
