Since we've spent around 2 mil net already, I can see us spending around another 8. Two fullbacks and a centre half.
-
No more release clauses then? No more 8.5mil Boumsongs?

Before he came to Newcastle, a better footballer? Perhaps, a better striker? Never.

Babayaro.

Probably an underling of Ashley so that he can have more control over Freddy, btw NSG am I loser if I find your avatar funny?
-
Wow, that works on so many different levels.
-
Tbh he just would've been a fat, uninterested player under Roeder.
-
I swear it's the Nigerian FA guy who told him he should've gone to a more successful premierleague club last year.

i concur none of his business, not to mention a worryingly fat fred-esque bit of oar sticking. allardyce is the man now alan, so keep your opinions out of the tabs and stop rocking the bloody boat. He's a fucking critic, he's supposed to voice his opinion.

Not one of those did i read and think "oh yeah, him" ... which is surely what the title is implying? BTW Ketsbaia and Acuna weren't s***. oh yeah, him

WHO EFFING CARES!?!?? Toon is moving forward, get the f**k in!

SA said every player will be given a fresh chance, why would SA need to single players out? I would guess Luque would be part of what SA said about the newcastle players collectively.

As long as his idiotic acts don't affect his and his teammates performances I don't mind. Well to be honest, he's paid to play football, whatever he wants to do out of football is in his rights. Of course stabbing a teammate in the eye with a cigarette is totally out of the question. But one thing does worry me though, people were angry about Parker sarcastically clapping at the fans, then how would the fans respond to Barton revealing his back-side to them?
-
To be fair though, he had a great start against Wigan, and if my memory serves me right, he had a good run before being injured.

Emre is nothing but a playmaker. This is exactly the role he was designed for a la Beardsley. Not sure Big Sam will want him here next season, but he might see him playing a JJ Okocha type of role. Mmm I do think Emre is class, I hope he is used in a role like this, I really do remember he had some delicious final touches during the dark-Souness Era.

Tino Ferdinand Shearer worked table says otherwise the table says we finished 2nd and? and nothing, just thought i'd point it out, don't you think it was worth pointing out ? not when that was the fact I was referring to what fact were you referring to and where do you refer to it ? what times the bus coming round to take you back tomorrow? righto vic Why does this happen in every thread with Vic in it?

I disgree and agree. While utility players are definately needed for squad depth, I don't think a playmaker is a luxury. Because the game is becoming so.....boring (chels-liv, man-chel fa cup style) you need a player who can unlock stubbon defences in a moment of magic.
-
Hmm perhaps, when I watched him at the world cup he had great technical ability, but he did seem a bit...timid, though perhaps that was because of the japanese squad's disputes which resulted in Nakamura's early retirement. That looks bluddy great.
-
Why would he want to leave a better club? true, but to a certain extent you could argue the same for parker, owen & martins. you'd have to say though, despite league positions, we're the higher profile club how about nakamura at celtic? Nakamura is a class player, Japan's best atm, creative, good passing, movement and great set-peice taker. Question is, would he give up championsleague football for a tougher league?
-
I'm sure he'll be part of Big Sam's plans.

Aye, that tackle was pure class, such a great moment.
