At least now i'm convinced KK doesn't rate him, that's the important thing. Hopefully he will move on in this window but i doubt he will play for us anymore either way.

To much of a risk at that price IMO. I understand the lad has talent but he's extremely lightweight and i know sometimes the best players can get away with it due to their unique talent. I've also heard a few times that Veloso was the real star in their midfield but if i'm honest i have not watched him often enough to make that judgement. Highly doubt we are in for him like. Is still about 13mill they want for him ? Is it? In that case forget what i said. I thought they were asking 18 or something, don't know where i got that from.

The words "great" and "good" are subjective, different meanings to different people. IMO Laurent Robert had GREAT technique and an excellent footballing brain. However, he was also lazy and fairly inconsistant (overall in his time here). Some great memories of him like. Spurs 4-0 in particular.

joint third top scorer behind Gomis and Niang IIRC Doesn't change anything. I'm not one of these people who is convinced Gomis would be a hit in our league, it takes alot to make that step up. Hardly set the euros alive, although admittedly he didn't play a great deal. Cisse was average last time, he won't come back any better but like i say, better than Chopra etc.

Tainio Reid Malbranque Diouf Cisse Jones Better front six than the shite they had last year like.
-
16 goals in the french league is hardly prolific. Never mind trying to convert that form into our league. The positive is that when he's fit, he's an athlete so at least he will work defenders.
-
Just an attempt at humour i believe. I thought he meant KK was doing his pre-match talk two days early.
-
What press conference?
-
gah! i hope not. i've always liked cisse Average footballer. Will get them a few goals but he isn't a great player.
-
They really are signing some wankers aren't they. On a serious note, having three bids accepted is pretty good for them. Depending on who they are.
-
I think within the next two days we will hear something, around friday lunchtime at a guess.
-
Jlaus Hans Kuntelaar?
-
My guess would be Holland.
-
Seriously, if it was James, i wouldnt be too unhappy! He is quality has a few years in him imo, and he is vocal enough for my liking. Seems its going be Terry though now. Bottled Deco's shot at the weekend though. I don't care what anyone says he should have saved it.
-
Really, i was convinced Rio would get it, he was favourite earlier.
-
Rooney. Despite the fact that he hasn't lived up to his early hype, he's still a great player. He's also the only one in the england camp that seems to have any fire in their belly. Even at the weekend, he sometimes seemed like the only man on the pitch for Man Utd at times. If they were going to get anything it was going to be Rooney who got it. Ferdinand, Terry and Gerrard are all wankers and Becks aint the future anymore.
-
Already been done i believe. Apparently they were doing it at OT.
-
Ne5's key word search will bring him straight to neesy. Don't we ever learn never to type in; "old regime" "craig bellamy" "freddy shepard"
-
So he is once again telling us what we already knew. I wouldn't pay 35p for that shit.
-
Only problem is that i can't see KK leaving Duff out, or starting Enrique for that matter. Although, i do agree. I think KK will start with Owen on the bench and bring him on.
-
Awesome. I really hope we get him. Is that quoted because someone said it? Na i'm just crap at using the quote thingy.
-
Something that should have been done along time ago. Good luck to the lad though.

From the mail; Newcastle directors Dennis Wise and Tony Jimenez are preparing to meet Real Madrid forward Javier Saviola this week in a bid to pull off a loan deal.
-
We don't need another striker? I think we do, and the type of striker is irrelevant in my eyes. If we can sign someone of Saviolas quality on loan for the season, in order to bolster the ranks and send Smith further down the pecking order, then i don't see the problem. The fact that it may be on loan tells us that it probably isn't long term.
