I think alot of this critisism of Sidwell is a touch much, he's hardly a bad player. Sure he's no Modric but he's a good premiership player, a one that could compete in a top 6 side IMO. My main gripe with Sidwell is that he hasn't really got a specific position, i.e he's not an attacking midfielder or a defensive midfielder, which would put me off. If he had regained some hunger and KK had a plan for him, i wouldn't be distraught if we took him. Not that i believe a word of it.

So because Bilic said it, it must be true? That's like me saying Steven Taylor is one of the best centre backs in the premierleague. Of course he is going to say that, he manages the guy.

1st choice - Beye---------?---------------Faye-----------------Enrique back up - Geremi----Taylor----Cacapa/Roz/Edgar---------? 1 centreback. 1 backup left-back. Sorted. Yup, was just about to post the same thing. Dunne is a very good centre half and a leader too. Could quite happily see him and Faye partners next year. Get this signing out the way would leave us in good stead for other priorities.

From what i have seen/heard Modric isn't a left midfielder, which N'Zogbia certainly is. So i don't think it makes a difference TBH. Could quite possibly see N'Zogbia at spurs next year because they are having a mini clear out.
