Tbh it goes beyond the past couple of days, when we signed Owen there was media hype but when Manu signed Rooney it was barely mentioned.

Tbh the media have gone a bit over board, Setanta were at the press conference about 10am this morning and every hour they were goin live to Newcastle and every time there would only be the reporter there sitting where KK will be sitting and saying "This is where he will sit" Personally im loving all the positive media, good to hear KK have a dig at the media as well. I never would of thought things were gonna be this positive.

Im just wondering what people think is Zoggy's best position? He's been played as LB,LW and CM this season. Personally i'd love to see Zoggy given a good run in the side as CM/ACM, he has what it takes imo to be a top player in midfield and could cure a bit of our lack of creativity. If we could get someone like Albelda to partner him then he would florish. Also having played as LW and LB i think having Zoggy in midfield he would be able to cover then if need be. I could see Duff, Zoggy and Enrique forming a pretty solid left side in our team. I still think we need a creative midfielder but Zoggy should be considered as an option instead of being wasted as LB.

Have people seen much of Quaresma? He wouldnt move unless to a CHL club and he'd probably cost around £20m.

Good post, booing never helps anyone even if Smith gets booed it effects the whole team. Last night was quite amazing and i can see SJP being a fortress again simply because the atmosphere will be great and very indimidating to opposing teams. I think it was clear against Arsenal how much the fans can help, we went 1-0 down after 4 mins yet the level of noise went up and the players responded. I dont understand some people who are making out KK is a poor appointment and a huge gamble but then want someone like Deschamps. KK was a good manager for us , Fulham and Mancity. KK is an amazing motivator which getting the players up for the game and giving their all is half of the task, we will win some games alone by KK ability to get the players motivated.

Yea i'd love to see Shearer learn his trade under KK. It would also help to attract players

How long did it take Fulham, Bolton, chelsea etc etc sign a manager after they sacked there managers? I dont recall hearing much about their search for a manager, the press have gone over board on us imo. Everyday we have a few new names thrown into the hat.
