I think it was Tony Cascarino who wrote an article earlier in the season saying that Berbatov very rarely scores against better defences, if you look at his record for both Spurs and Bulgaria then it seems Cascarino has hit the nail on the head. Good player though but needs a better goalscorer than Defoe next to him. Yep, Im sure his goals have mainly been against poor teams this season. He does have a problem scoring away from home aswell. Solano does get his fair share of injuries every season so i think a RB is needed althou not as urgent as a LB, I'd like to see us get a promising up and coming RB who will eventually take over from Solano. Carr should be sold asap

This Summer transfer window is vital, If we get in a few quality player then i cant see why we wont be a top 6 team, Take out the top 4 and the league is pretty much poor atm. Consistancy is the key, We seem to have a problem of winning games which we are expecting to win. I think next season will be a better season because the likes of Owen will be back but also im hoping that Roeder does well in the transfer market and gets quality full backs as well as a good CD.

Bambles talent has never really been in doubt, Its his lack of concentration and being able to perform consistently. Ive seen plenty of games where Bramble has been outstanding but he normally follows that up with a few high profile blunders which get the headlines. Bramble is playing for his future at Newcastle and my worry is that he'll win a new contract but then fall back into his old routine.

So, N'Zogbia is a central midfielder and Makelele is just 'decent' now? Exactly what i thought, Makelele is by far the best DMF in the world. Lamapard wouldnt be the player he is if it wasnt for Makelele because Makelele allows Lampard to get forward as often as he likes. Essien is another midfielder who is under-rated by a lot of people, IMO Essien is the best all round midfielder in the premiership.

Its not so much the word thats the problem but the manner in which its used, If Emre said what has been reported then he's bang out of order and deserves to be punished. why is he out of order? I agree in a way but i find it a little unfair the way clubs are treated by the FA, Not just the English FA but most FA's. All FA's have to much power over a player imo, If a player doesnt play for his country when they ask then that player can get fined or banned from club matches. What gives the FA the right to ban a player from playing for his club because he didnt play a friendly? IMO the club should have a say in the matter and not the FA's just picking what ever player they feel fit and sending them back injured and saying "O well". Sueing the FA aint really the answer because as people have said poor FA's cant afford to pay the wages of a top premiership player but something needed to be sorted out.
