Not sure about that tbh, was off his line and caught completely unawares! Wasn't like Taylor hit a floater than just went it, he hit it with some power, a complete snap shot and the amount it dipped was amazing! Yea it did dip alot and thats what caught Howard out but if Howard thought for 1 minute it was going in i believe he could of got to it, Ive seen it quite often where keepers get caught out. Dont get me wrong it was a fantastic shot but if Given was beat by that shot i'd be blaming him, Where as i dont think any keeper would of saved Essiens goal.

For me what made Essiens goal so good was the fact that Lehmann seen the shot but couldnt save it where as Taylors goal althou a fantastic strike has to go down as a keeper error because Howard could of and should of just caught it.

Why are people saying buy Distin for £2m-£4m? He has 6 months left of his contract doesnt he? Offer £500k take it or leave it. If Man City wont sell him for that we could talk to him in Jan and get him for free in the Summer. I wouldnt mind us getting D.Bent but for no more than £7m. Z.Gera would be a welcomed addition to the squad, IMO we lack another play maker and someone like Gera would be decent to have on the bench. I would love to see us get W.Bridge but with him signing a new deal i cant see him leaving. Ive noticed a few people suggesting we go for L.Young but tbh i dont rate him at all, If Solano can continue performing at RB then perhaps he should stay there till the Summer when we can have a better search for a RB.
