You do like to give players plenty of time to settle don't you? He is settling into a new team, new country, new league and he is 21 years old, there are bound to be things that he will need to improve upon and he has shown plenty of sparks of what he can do and bring to the team! You only have to look at one of the best strikers in the world (Shevchenko) to see its not always easy to adapt to a new league straight away! Why are you bothering to humour him? TBH Sibierski has shown more desire and has done more than Luque, I'd play him before Luque

How people are still arguing Luque's cause is amusing, The reason Luque hasnt played is beause he has been shit Ameobi under Roeder and without Shearer as a strike partner has been very impressive, SBR,Roeder,Shearer and Souness all rated Ameobi highly so he has to have something about him. When we signed Owen, apart of me wanted chant "there's only one freddy sheppard", but i refrained when i remember how he got rid of Bobby and all the other countless mishaps he has had. If Roeder had set out to sign Bernard in the first place there would not have been as much a problem. The problem was that he left it late and proved he failed in the transfer market with his number one targets. At least we have cover in that position shame we're short of a centre back now. I think everyone knew Bridge was our main LB target and i think Roeder was confident of getting him but the Cole transfer dragged on and on and in the end we missed out but i think we'll be in for him in January.
