haven't read the rest of the thread yet so probably already been said but not snapping up Diame on a free transfer in the summer was a massive mistake. We were desperate for a centre midfielder and if money was as tight as suggested him coming in on a free and spending the money that went on Anita on other areas would have been much better.

the new Cabaye song has been stuck in my head since walking back from the ground last night.
-
only just got back but we were talking to some lads on the train and a couple wanted to go back to the ground this morning and got directions from a local and from the 2nd square where we met it took them 15 mins straight up the road. The police were a disgrace walking us for an hour on a massive diversion, they bussed in the Birmingham fans last season and should have bussed us in as well.

we'll probably go there just after they've sacked Atkins and we'll face a pumped up new team playing for there new manager.....Harry Redknapp and get beat.

i would play harper simpso tav colo fergie obertan anita abeid or marveaux sammy campbell shola -
wish he'd lifted his head up and rolled it square to Cisse for a tap in and given us the win.
-
he was very delighted about something

Pesonally think they alleged threat from a Chelsea player to break Clattenburgs legs is much worse than what Chelsea are accusing Clattenburg of doing.
-
Still can't understand the reasoning for going to 433 but playing Shola out on the right. Talk about square pegs in round holes.

http://www.manchester-united-fans-site.com/images/gabriel-bertan-united.jpg Let's get started then. Beardsley is only good for handing out bibs and picking up the cones off the pitch. Although he did add a new string to his bow in the reserve game last week....stretcher bearer.

Don't know why i wasted an afternoon watching that shambles of a football game. I was commenting on facebook to a couple of mates at half time how bad the first half was and that i was going to switch to a different stream but didn't thinking it would improve but if anything it got worse!!! Two terrible footballing sides both playing 451 with no one from either side trying to get up and support the lone striker, too be fair both Crouch & Fletcher held it up well but got no support so in the end lost possesion time and again although the teams were that bad they would give the ball straight back once they did get it!

Had stripes on the back as well which yet again criminally we don't.

Think people need to remember how much football Marveaux has missed in the last couple of seasons, so far when he's played in the first team while showing some neat touches hasn't quite been at it. I would be quite happy for him to play regularly in the reserves uptil xmas, would get his confidence up and match sharpness back as still think mentally he isn't going flat out for fear of his body failing again. Think he could still be an crucial player in the 2nd half of the season.

i would guess so seeing that all our games ko at the same time as Liverpools and ITV4 love them. Although i have a feeling our game in Bruges might be on ITV4 but that is only cos it'll be cheaper for them to show that than travel to Russia.
-
Surely these are the types of games when the likes of Sammy should be given a chance to show what they can do.
-
i know, they've got peoples backs up straight away. Surely a better strategy would have been to invite fans to enjoy there city, come and enjoy yourselves but if you don't have a match ticket stay away from the stadium and stay in the market square which we will make into a fan park for the day and erect giant TV screen for supporters to watch the match.

Tavernier was excellent tonight for the reserves and think he may have played himself into the team on Thursday night, Marveaux may have played himself out of it, he was neat and tidy but his work rate, awareness and slowing the play down didn't go down well with Stone and Carver who were watching.
-
I know the weather was minging but feel sorry for the lads in a way that such a brilliant team display was only witnessed by 221 fans. The next home game is a top of the table clash against Man U so should be a few more at that one.
-
Thought the team were fantastic tonight, played some brilliant one and two touch football and ran Stoke ragged for 90 mins. If we had put ten past them i don't think they could have complained, there keeper made 4 excellent saves and we had some poor finishing. For a 16 year old Satka looks like he could be a cracking player in a few years, i was sitting in front of Carver, Stone and Woodman and JC and Stone were impressed, they weren't too impressed with Marveaux though! Also thought JC was going to smack the ref when the ref basically ignored a shocking tackle on Nicholson which resulted in him being stretchered off. Never seen any of the senior management leave there seats and walk onto the pitch before.
-
it was tremendous but just wish like most songs we wouldn't sing it so quick!! it seemed to get faster and faster the longer it went lol
-
although i want us playing 433 i can see us going with a straight forward 442 HARPER TAVERNIER SAYLOR PERCH FERGIE OBERTAN TIOTE ANITA MARVEAUX (or sammy if he impresses for the reserves tonght) SHOLA CISSE
-
stupid thing for Taylor to come out with, just gives them more motivation.
-
they have done something we have never done....played in division 3. Facts That Matter.
-
i am reasonably confident, certainly not scared of them but i say the same thing every season and this is no different, avoid defeat over there and win at SJP, gladly take 4 points off them every season.

is this match on youtube?? when i search it just brings up the first leg
