well put an official transfer request in instead of trying to skirt round the rules to squeeze every last piece of cash out the club he's supposed to feel so much for. For all we know declaring his interest to leave publicly has voided his loyalty bonus claim? Unless anyone knows this not to be the case perhaps?

How can anyone blame Habib? Football is his life and he is working for a complete joke of a club, that isn't even close to being a 'team' on and off the pitch. He is far better than Newcastle atm, and he has realized this. Good luck to him.

That is the exact reason why the club hasn't been sold, he wants the most out of this as possible. I would put good money on it that his loan is what is holding up proceedings.

I wish our players would all fuck off with the exception of a handful, the thought of seeing Shola leading the line and the midfield enforcer that is Nicky Butt 'dominating' midfields for another year is as bad as NUFC not being sold.

It is just the same as being on strike against poor conditions of employment. Relatively speaking, the players are experiencing poor working conditions, and are perfectly entitled to speak out. Relatively speaking? Relative to whom? Most people in the country's jobs are under threat to some extent with no certainty how long their boss or even company is going to be around in its present guise. Most people put up with it though. Whilst getting paid less in a year than these rabble do in a week. Relative to other professional footballers or staff. Your pre-season is being taken by a coach with no long-term direction regarding the season ahead, and three of the main coaches are looking at leaving the club and therefore have no long-term interest in your fitness for the current season. Chris Hughton is selflessly working his guts off knowing that in a couple of weeks he could be sacked on a whim by the new people. Two coaches are leaving in two weeks and no active attempt to replace them is being made. Many players are being treated like slaves by Mike Ashley: do as you are told, don't ask questions, don't get any answers regarding the future, and you aren't allowed to leave. Boo-hoo. The lazy c***s should have thought about that when horrifically underperforming last season. Treated like slaves Don't see why being s*** or lacking confidence can be the players fault. Certainly the players that have spoken out so far have every right to. How about when they gave up in many, many games that not their fault either?

robinho Aye, but he's more flexible than the others, they'll just stick him on the left wing or something to fit all the mega stars in up front. Bellamy can play on the wing, can't he? I thought thats why him and souness fell out as he told him to piss off. it was for being subbed at Charlton after he had just scored and was our only goal threat entire match.

Ok.. I'm currently still playing for a club in southeast Europe, many people would agree that i should of definitely achieved more in the game, I have only played in 1 world cup.

No, to both buddy. I think maybe weren't enough clues in that post, we'll see

I appeared for a south american clubs first team aged 16, making a name for myself instantly. Not long after I got a move to a European team, my debut for them saw me come off the bench, when the side was losing with 10 minutes left - I went on to score 2 goals - one being a 35 yard plus screamer and the other a free kick - winning the game for them. During my stint there, which was 11 years, i would average a goal every 3 games but under 200 appearances.

After reading that article - if the very longest it would take is 2 more weeks.. i can wait.

Javier Saviola? Nah werent a bad shout though
-
I began my career in one of Europe's top leagues more than 10 years ago, it took me 2 transfers and 7 years to become a first team regular - talent has always been overlooked until i moved between big rivals, here i learn't to play a less attacking game and I formed a formidable partnership with my international colleague.

By which time it will be too late. How exactly? Fans not attending games, owner not being wanted and protested against.. and won't change until he fucks off.

Nihat? Nihat? Hate it when that happens

did i say it was ? whos fault was it that we hocked everything we had and still made losses. do you think in that situation the banks would fall over themselves to loan us more to invest ? Yet still Fat Fred managed to sell the club for a tidy sum taking the banks out of the equation. Was that his fault as well? and what position were we in when he left ? what position had we been headed for 2 or 3 years priior ? This is the question you really need to ask Mike Ashley as he thought it was a good buy at the time. and he got it wrong ? still doesn't mean fred didn't leave us in a financial shitheap. So do you think after Ashley bought the club, he should blame the problems on Shepherd? some. if the halls/fred had the club at heart they would have warned ashley as to the hidden stuff they knew he didn't check (which he only has himself to blame for)...they found a sucker, very, very lucky for them. You know very well the deal was done behind Shepherd's back (or hospital bed). More bullshit Madras? do you think fred would have come clean for thew sake of the club ?....now thats bullshit. IIRC correctly Shepherd didn't want to sell the club and was bullish about Ashley buying up shares. He actually worked with Ashley for about a a fortnight after the takeover.

Taylor seems to be loyal, and on a great contract. If he was on Bassong's wage though, would he be that keen on sticking around? Martins himself admitted he would be interested in playing for Arsenal if he got the chance IIRC, Nolan has been woeful - biggest contract of his career so far - will someone match it? Let alone pay a transfer fee. Isn't it the case that if they come out and say they want to leave they forfeit their loyalty bonus? Could be a factor if that is indeed true.
-
They would have to take a lower wage to get up a division, hence why they are wanting to stay here. So basically, everybody should be going on like Bassong then and throwing a hissy fit? Bassong wants to move, better league, better pay, international ambitions. The rest have a nice contract - which won't be bettered elsewhere, winding down their careers and won't accept less than what they are earning now. That is the difference.

If he were to leave us without kicking up a fuss as if he's bigger than the club then that would be fair enough, but the way he's gone about things has left a sour taste in some people's mouths tbh. He was the first one to say he wanted to leave when others were saying they wanted to stay and help the club. Some of the big earners said they would stay. In contrast to those players - other clubs will offer him a more lucrative contract then the one he is on now.

Loyalty.. he has only been here a year. We will make good profit on him, don't really recall him moaning and bitching about the way the club is being run, acted pretty professionally up until now. Besides that, the lad owes us f*** all tbh. We put tremendous pressure on him to perform straight away and he stood up to the task, and was our best performer. We shoved faith in him - aye, but so did the French club who were relegated, he is well within his right to not want to play Championship football - he is far better than that. As far as them quotes go, i interpreted the 'not worried' as if he doesn't get the transfer then happy to stay.
