Totally agree with these matches not being televised. It would kill attedances, particularly in lower and non leagues. I can't do radio either so tend to just check my mobile every 10 mins or so -agony.

And he's put 4 past them this season and all that Nolan has scored more against SAFC this season than Jordan Henderson has scored for SAFC in his career. He's scored more than their entire midfield all season. More league goals than Defoe, Crouch & Pavyluchenko put together. Can you imagine those 3 put together. Whata hideous composite that would be, stuff of nightmares

Great run for his goal yesterday. No one look even remotely interested in tracking him though
-
Not a chance, he'll still have to bang on the door like everyone else. Superb. Very very good

Sounds from the Pardew soundbites in the Sunday Sun today that he's looking for one young strker.

Williamson did look shaky at times. Shola was stand out first half for me. Barton and Colo second. A few scares but I'm pleased with that. Home and hosed for me now.

My lad got him in Match Attax today. Same pack as Nile Ranger - highlight of the week if I'm honest

John Parking! Steer Malbranque and Zoltan Gear change

Oliver has Simpson being chased by West Ham and Alan Smith switching to Rangers. Talk of Birmingham's interest in Simpson is 'wide of the mark'

Really starting to look like he might never play for us. Disappointing stuff

Nothing like finding a problem where there isnt one, ay? When does it become a problem then? When he takes 9 months to assimilate next season. Hope I'm wrong, but it's ok to have a genuine concern isn't it?

Dont agree, no sense having him hanging round Newcastle where he knows nobody getting himself depressed that he can't play football and then seeing him push too hard to get back playing quick. Let him stop at home with his friends and family, pop over every now and again to feel involved still and learn the language back in France. Come back fully fit and able to train with the rest of the team in full training sessions towards the end of the season That's the alternative view yes. As long as he is learning the language and visiting regularly that it sounds ok. Guess we'll see in time.

Shall we just see what happens?

Carr?

Kind of ironic that he was flying in to town to force a move 9 months ago and now he is back training he is in France. I know this will be an unpopular view and there are lots of counter arguments as propounded by Pards this week, but I see the relutance for him to come over/ us to have him here as a bad sign. At the least him being here would get him assimilated better - often an excuse for a slow start in a new country is problems with language etc. Next season will effectively be his first and that could have been avoided by having him here when he started any form of training again.
