I remember the day well too. Smashing Forest, somehow Liverpool (lol) could only draw their game so we finished second, back in the days when only the top two made it into CL. Oh and Sunderland AND Boro went down, not a bad afternoon

One of the most deserving of our fantastic group of players to be rewarded with CL football. He was the first to trust the new owners and leave what was undoubtedly a brilliant life in Spain (even though he's said he wanted to return to the UK) and has been utterly fantastic from day 1. Love the thought of him leading us out next year in that competition, elite leader and hope he's around the club long after he's done playing.
