Then there's Ivanovic who signed for £9M in January and hasn't yet played a minute of football despite not being injured...

I like Crouch from that list. Ideally you would want someone with more mobility but Viduka's link up play is most important to the current system and Crouch is closest to him in that aspect. I think it would work with Owen and Martins running off of him and perhaps someone like SWP taking up Geremi's role to give us some natural width on the right.

Huddlestone ahead of Carrick is a strange one.

Chris Mort has told David Craig that it was 'a constructive and productive meeting'.

I remember that ugly cunt Stubbs telling Rooney to go to United. I wonder if Berger is in an agents pocket too? Berger is an absolute wanker for that. Refused to play for the reserves last season, so MON sent him on loan to Stoke. Comes back a reformed character, plays about three times due to injury, wangles himself a final one year contract which is just about to end, then comes out with this shit. Wanker. 'Patrik Berger will not play for Aston Villa again after suggesting that Gareth Barry should join Liverpool.'

If there isn't a real chance of N'Zogbia being here next season i'd rather see Kazenga get the run out. Same formation, Carroll in for Viduka.

That's 32 goals in his first season in English football. How many does Cristiano have if you take away his penalties?
-
I wouldn't say they have no ambition, only a handful of Premier League clubs have spent more than them this season.

I think Chelsea have more big game players, unfortunately.

Man United v Everton FA cup final. If Man United had won Newcastle would have got in Europe. Everton won 1-0. Only time I've ever been gutted about Man United losing. I'll be wearing my Lampard shirt for the final Lampard did go up in my estimation after that penatly, generally outshone Gerrard too.

Chelsea I don't think i'll have ever wanted Man Utd to win a game as much.

I'd be f****** livid with the bindippers if i supported Oxford, Luton, QPR, Palace since they robbed probably the only chance those clubs had to play in Europe. Also robbed Everton of the chance to win the European cup. Any fan who causes bother in Russia wants their head examined. We already have strained diplomatic relations with Russia. Imagine fans getting arrested then vanishing, it's not an impossibility. Putin has the perfect opportunity to cause some bother. I wouldn't be entirely suprised if the VISA situation doesn't get resolved and alot of fans can't get there anyways. Liverpool fans seem to think it will almost certainly be a 'WWIII' situation. http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=218987.0

Given the rumours earlier on that Park would be man-marking Messi, I wouldn't be suprised to see him at right back leaving Ferguson with his first choice front six.
-
Man Utd: Van der Sar, Evra, Hargreaves, Ferdinand, Brown, Ronaldo, Rooney, Park, Carrick, Scholes, Tevez. Barcelona: Valdes, Milito, Marquez, Xavi, Iniesta, Eto'o, Zambrotta, Messi, Deco, Abidal, Toure.

The thought of John Terry, Frank Lampard and the plastic flag waving boo boys in a European Cup final... Come on, Liverpool.
-
2-0 up, Owen on a hat-trick and it doesn't even feel like we've got going yet.
-
You do know they also need Man Utd to lose to Blackburn, West Ham or Wigan?
-
In reality they would be queuing up for a manager who is on course for his third European Cup final appearance in four years. If Benitez does stay and Liverpool invest heavily again, which they clearly need to do in order to compete under any manager, i think they'll go very close to the title.

I think Eduardo's injury effectively put Arsenal out of the title race. Not because it was a massive psychological blow to the players, which everybody seems to keep saying, but because he was just starting to settle down and score for fun. So when Adebayor's form did drop, which was to be expected, they were left relying on Bendtner who evidently isn't good enough at this level yet. Probably agree with Ash re: their strikeforce. If van Persie - who i think has the potential to be as good as anybody, Adebayor and Eduardo are all fit for most of the season they will get more than enough goals. It's definitely the midfield that needs work.

Incredible debut season.
