Actually celebrating a goal, what a difference.

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but can we no extend the gallowgate over the road and link it up with level 7?

Manchester United's Premier League fixture with Aston Villa at Old Trafford has been given a new kick-off time. A club statement reads: “Our home match against Aston Villa on 25 September has been brought forward to a 12.30 BST kick-off, following a request from Trafford Council Safety Advisory Group to move the game due to the Courteeners concert at Lancashire Cricket Club, Emirates Old Trafford, on the same day. https://www.manutd.com/en/news/detail/man-utd-premier-league-home-game-with-aston-villa-moved-2021

Maybe so they can be on TV? Isn't there some law restricting 3pm Saturday KO, not sure it applies to earlier games?

Great win, sets things up nicely for Saturday fingers crossed the weather holds!

So many things happen today show how broken football is. The Wilson goal, shows how the rules just don't work and how VAR is not fit for purpose as they never looked at the TAA push. ASM getting body checked, yellow cards worthless here. Football needs sin bins like all other sports. Do a tactical foul like that your team is down to 10 men for 10 mins. The west ham red, well I'm not sure how you fix that. See so many stupid decisions with follow throughs either the kicker catching someone, or a defender trying to block and the kicker kicking them and then getting hurt. You'd think with endless replays they'd see it's not even a foul but I'm not sure what rules these people are reading.

Key thing with the Super league proposal we just had is that they wanted to stay in the PL, with Super as a champs league replacement. So this new rule will probably head off any future Super ideas as they would no longer be in the domestic game.

All the clubs who signed up should be banned from Champions / Europa League for at least next season as a minimum. Fully expecting nothing to happen.
-
Maybe because UEFA is there to serve all of European football not just the Champions league?
-
The difference is the day of the week. I can watch NFL all afternoon and evening on a Sunday, but I couldn't on a Tuesday. Champions league games could start earlier, but even then you're talking about two different time slots at most. This becomes an issue when the fans can't make it to the earlier start times due to work, or can't get home as public transport is finished once the game ends. UEFA could improve things, but running away to form your own forever league is a fucking stupid idea. Real Madrid etc are only in this mess and need more TV money due to their own greed and incompetence.

Surely send ASM for the memes

Perez is one of the biggest cunts in all of football, how anyone still listens to him is beyond me. I'm hoping this finally fucks him but no doubt he'll make Real a shitload of money and be around for ever.

Gary's point about City is a good one. They don't need the money like the others do, and if they pull out then the whole thing folds. Hoping Pep steps up and calls them out on it and they're never going to sack him.
-
Klopp calling out Gary this should be good
-
Bamford great speaker as always. Boring James Milner saying he doesn't like and thinks it shouldn't happen, but the players have no say. Not that the owners will give a fuck.
-
Very true in that regard, maybe NFL isn't the best comparison. Though I cant see the Seahawks leaving Seattle at least. The money is simply becoming too much in all sports, hoping this brings out the German model of 50%+1 but can't see that coming in.
