  2. as good a debut as I've ever seen fantastic stuff from the lad
  3. "The Barcodes will get stuffed tonight". Some West Ham fans have lost a fair but of money tonight ,what a shame bluebiggrin.gif http://www.kumb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=72741 Time for some humble pie (even from our lot tbf :winking: )
  4. that's nowt, remember Inter fans somehow managed to 'sneak in' a scooter which they set alight and threw the burning scooter from the 2nd tier of the San Siro not so long ago
  5. a few papers today are saying Gabriel Heinze will be loaned out (reportedly to Paris Saint Germain).......I think he's a far better player that Evra at left back though and is a canny centre back too (funnily enough, positions we're a 'tad' short in).....
  6. Next is Barton or Beresford or Hamilton or Maric or Acuna or Robinson or... Acuna underrated

ridiculous, shouldnt have bothered staying up for the 'highlights' of our game
  8. according to NOTW I'm sure we'll be flooded with offers
  9. single handedly destroyed Eintracht Frankfurt's team in the mid 90's, they had some fantastic players back then (Gaudino, Yeboah,Jay Jay Okocha ,and Moller earlier) until Heyckes came along, fell out with them (sounds like Souness anyone?) and flogged them for next to nothing and left them with 2 subsequent relegations That's why I worship him. You a FSV Mainz supporter? he did his best to destroy Schalke too before they got rid

  11. wasted talent IMO, he could've been top class if he'd sorted it out his personal problems. Pace, power, dribbling, flair. ah well thought he went to Holllywood to become a famous actor anyway?
  12. Auf geht's FSV Mainz In all seriousness I think it will be a tough game, not the pushovers that most Newcastle fans seem to be thinking, you have a couple good players there that premier league fans know absolutely nothing about your team. Thurk looks an astute signing and Meier seems to be scoring a fair few goals from midfield recently
  13. I think he's a hugely talented player but the Premier League was definitely not suited to him. He is far more suited to the Italian league in my opinion where it's very slow paced football and not so physical......and more suited to a 3-5-2 formation where he can play behind the 2 strikers (where he doesn;'t have to tackle! but concentrate on clever through passes to the strikers)
  14. apolgies if this was posted in another thread earlier but Anal came out with another classic recently "Roeder does have the option of handing French Under-21 international Antoine Sibierski his first start" .........
  15. Whenever i feel ripped off in terms of transfers (ie Luque) i just remember there are bigger mugs out there and none bigger than Betis who paid £23m for Denilson. as well as Veron 28m to Man Ure, Mendieta 28m to Lazio, Gigi Lentini for 13m,Cisse for 14.5m, Diouf 11m to Livepool,Rebrov 11m, even Bogarde who never played for 5 years but cost 3m a year in wages, erm Marcelino just for good measure
  16. Shearer esque eh http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIm6OaybVM0 MINT!
  17. He scored more than 1. I've had time to think about it and I can remember 3. bluebiggrin.gif he said 1 goal in 35 'headed' attempts Ya, I can remember 3 headed goals. Leeds home from the edge of the box, Birmingham at home when the keeper came and flapped, Norwich away from about 2 yards... fair enough, you must have some fkin memory to remember those

  19. This is a comment from a City fan regarding our new signing. What did Roeder say about his heading skills again? His good points - He works hard, doesn't cause any problems off field, can play left wing, up front or (probably his best position) playing off a main striker, is tall and fit, he'll be cheap His bad points - He is poor in just about all those positions, his heading is atrocious (one headed goal in over 35 attempts at City), he drifts in and out of games, he looks lazy, he looks disinterested most of the time and he will not be a good acquisition for you. I thought (nay dreamt) we may get rid of him for free or at least on loan, but to get actual cash was amazing, I can't believe what Roeder sees in him. Good luck, you'll need it ;-)
  20. what does he say? (seriously). not subscribed to NCL World
  21. I've just read Sibieski's agent is Wilie Mckay, he certainly makes his fookin money selling joke players to us
  22. most definitely. Hartson was sold for 500k, Sutton a free (can also play central defence!). Wouldn't have been sure about Kanu to be fair but he's doing the business certainly now
