We played well from what I saw, unfortunately we just played an absolutely excellent City side. As much as I hate them, when they are on form, they are so fucking hard to play against. Even if Arsenal win the league this season and Liverpool won it last year, City under Pep when they are good are the worst to play against.

Disagree, ridiculous that it was ever a rule to begin with. Might as well not have a January transfer window if you can't compete in all fronts if you move.

Don't see that at all with our squad. Surely Bruno and Tonali, with Miley a close back up, would be our 2, and it'd be pretty tough to upgrade on them. While also leaving the likes of Joelinton, Ramsey, Willock (I know) pretty much obsolete and in desperate need for a top class number 10 to rotate Woltemade with.

Everyone needs to get off Wissa's back, as he didn't have a pre season.
