A week after that someone wanted us to replace Milner with Michael Kightly from Wolves.

I like him and it's obvious he's a good player, but he's never going to suit how we play whilst Howe is here. If we don't plan on changing style I think I'd be happy to get our money back in the Summer.

Targett will help, but CB is a massive issue too we're essentially only going to have 3 fit CBs (At best). If we lose 1 to injury (Like we have now with Burn) we've only got 2 fit.

It's obvious we need to sign someone and I'd be shocked if we didn't. This talk around we're expecting Burn back soon so might not bother is irrelevant. It assumes we won't get anymore injuries in the future, and with the current fit defenders we have having to play every minute I expect some of those to get injured aswell.

I'd throw in the 1-0 away at Leeds and the last minute Bruno goal vs Leicester. From that list probably PSG. Nothing better than last minute winners though so that Leeds game would be up there.

He doesn't suit how we play that's obvious, but I don't blame him for that. He's a very talented player and would thrive with the right style of play. I was thinking earlier today given he doesn't suit how we play if he was a bit of a panic buy given how the Isak saga dragged right to the end of the window. But then I thought about our first target of Joao Pedro who isn't an out and out striker, and so I thought Howe must want something a bit different for low blocks. I haven't seen any change in style though this season so not sure what the plan is, but if it's to continue playing in this style I don't really see it working.

Howe said he's played CB in training more than full back which was a bit of a surprising comment.

Aye he was a bit all over the place at times but his presence drags us through games, we wouldn't have won tonight without him on the pitch.
