Maybe I was a little OTT with how he worded it, but he was saying things like Gordon has done well upfront before etc. Has he? I can't think of one game where I thought he looked comfortable there. Everton away is probably the only game I thought he played well there, and he missed two sitters in that including a penalty.

I did IF he turns out to be as good as he's looked so far. We clearly wouldn't want 3 quality players in the same position.

Who would you sell then? We need to sell someone to stay on top of PSR. Gordon, Barnes, Park is over stacked.

If Park turns out to be as good as he looks I think we should move Barnes on in 12 months.

I think he has to go, he's burnt too many bridges and I think it might have an effect on the dressing room if he stays. As Howe has said many times before, we need to protect that at all costs. Who do we get after Wissa? I'm really not sure I personally would take Jackson at a reasonable price.

Possibly, but then you'd have to play Gordon or Barnes RW. Currently we've got 2/3 in their preferred positions (Elanga & Barnes). If you move Elanga upfront with Gordon/Barnes RW you've only got 1 in their preferred position.

I was thinking earlier we wouldn't do that because he hasn't played any pre-season games. Then I thought if we don't play him he'll never get fit so you're probably right
