I was watching the BBC news at 6am this morning and there was like 5 or 6 chavs standing outside St James Park drinking beer and holding a cardboard Ashley out sign and as soon as the tv reporter turned to them they were bouncing around like lunatics.

I agree, I think the new board has tried to keep Newcastle out of the spotlight but instead have gone too far and made things worse. Today being a prime example as a simple "Keegan hasn't left but discussions are on going" earlier in the day wouldn't of hurt rather than getting a "we haven't sacked Keegan after hours of waiting around with everyone's anger and frustration building up.

Until this morning when I came on here and read the mass panic I was happy enough with what Ashley has done, the players we have brought in all look decent and I'm looking forward to see our new midfielder playing (be great to have someone who can pass). I have no idea what has been going on today with regards to the meeting etc.. So I will reserve my judgement for the next few days when the clubs direction is more clear.

Originally probably not because everyone would be just loving the fact that we were signing world class stars and in the running again for every competition but I reckon after a while some people may get bored with having a 'perfect team'. The whole point of football is the ups and downs, it adds to the enjoyment, well for me it does. Plus we wouldn't have anyone to moan about, ala smith.

Tomorrows a new day, hopefully everything will be cleared up and we can get back to concentrating on how we will do against hull.

Yes, no matter who is here or who isn't however I'd be fuming, or will be fuming if it turns out we've just wrecked all the progress we have made over these last few months.

Hopefully this will mean we can get on as a team and progress with the rest of the season. I just hope all this drama hasn't put doubts in the minds of the players we already have here which could distract how they preform.

Old enought to see my team is in big trouble this season you all need to take your blinkers off Trouble from what? We have a small squad yes but we've made a good start to the season and by monday we might have 1 or 2 more players to our squad so I'm in an optimistic mood.. We seem to have more club insiders than fans. Do these insiders stand outside the ground with "club insider" on their shirts hoping the press interview them.. I'm not sure what to make of this, it could just be the papers trying to stire shit as usual especially with keegan saying he is going to back barton.

While it would be nice for Man United to slip up they will easily improve and be back up the other end of the table soon enough but with pompey they are a direct rival so the more they loose the better.
