  1. Narrator: ‘it did’.
  2. So far up your bollocks it’s poking out of your mouth.
  3. This is the balancing act. As we know, Eddie puts maximum value in the togetherness of the squad. There are decisions he makes due to that which negatively affect the football, sometimes, but games like last night (and countless others) show why he does it.
  4. Thought he was really good tonight, last few performances have been really promising.
  5. You’ve been balanced. I’ve read so many posts on here calling his signing a disaster, part of a summer which has set us back years, etc. It’s been absolute shite, all of it. No nuance, context, understanding of the impact of acclimatising to a new team, early injury, fitness, trying to play his way into the team ahead of the first choice midfield 3. And all the while his ability was clear as day, things just weren’t working out for various reasons. It’s honestly been so ridiculous.
  6. Respectfully, Andy, I don’t care.
  7. Right up your bollocks? Aye?
  8. Anyone like to offer an opinion on where you might stick it?
  9. What a disastrous signing.
  10. It’s nice to see the more balanced posters have their say en masse after the reactionaries have had their say. Another thing I’ve already said that I think bears repeating. It can take a long, long time to find a manager who looks like they have what it takes to help a club achieve its potential. Just look at Man U, Spurs, etc. We’d be mad to throw away what Eddie’s building because of one disappointing season.
  11. Yeah. I already posted about it a couple of days ago, but patience is a choice. I can’t relate to not being patient with Eddie, given how far he’s improved the club from where we were. The point about other clubs admiring him should give the Howe outers pause for thought, as well. Liverpool and Man United likely both looking for managers at the end of the season.
  12. Agreed. Should buy him another month.
  13. This is a myth. Boris Johnson was our PM, we left the EU, and Nigel fucking Farage is currently favourite to be next PM. ‘Brits’ will believe any old shite as long as it validates their prejudices.
  14. Eddie has his faults, like all managers/coaches. They’ve been well covered and discussed on here so pointless me listing them again. For me the choice is whether or not you choose to have patience with him. And it is a choice. There’s no guarantee a new appointment would be ‘better’, just like there’s no guarantee he can turn it around. On balance, though, I’d still prefer to give him the opportunity to sort it out. I think the reasons for that are obvious, TBH. I think he’s worth the patience.
  15. Name calling bad, name changing good.
  16. Massive overhauls very rarely happen, it’s total fantasy.
  17. So? The majority know fuck all about fuck all.
  18. Assuming it was a credibility issue.
  19. I’m interested, humour me. We’re humouring you.
  20. What was your previous username and why don’t you post using that anymore?
