Other clubs' transfer deadline day discussion

How about Boro to replace Yakubu with Samaras...? Saw that, but it's in the Mirror and therefore almost certainly bollocks. I'd be happy to be proved wrong like. You never know. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_2692862,00.html Agent quoted as saying "It is a possibility that Georgios could leave Manchester City before Friday. We are still in negotiations to try and sort something out. There is interest from all over Europe in Georgios, but he wants to stay in England. Middlesbrough is a big club and we will wait and see what happens." -

Ashley Young doesn't deserve to be in that sentence. You can put Harewood in there tho. But then the number is smaller so it isn't as funny. -
He'd be wrong then. He's a decent player but he's nowhere near the level of someone like Arteta or Berbatov.

"That coats from Matalan" City fans to Jose Mourinho :giggle: Classic. Favourites from this season include "We should be at Bramall lane" to West Ham fans and the much crueler "Tevez put the kettle on" to Quasimodo.
-
Manchester City 5-2 Spurs (1994) Other favourites: Spurs 3-4 Manchester City (2004) Gillingham 2-2 Manchester City (1999) Manchester City 3-1 Manchester United (2002) Manchester City 4-1 Manchester United (2004) Manchester City 6-2 Bolton (2003) Blackburn 1-4 Manchester City (2000) Ipswich 1-4 Manchester City (2002) Non City: Germany 1-5 England Newcastle 5-0 Manchester United Manchester United 1-3 Real Madrid And every other game that lot got dicked. Especially in Europe. :giggle:

He's not available for Loan. He's not willing. He says they will either keep him or sell him, he;s not interested in being arsed about. http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,16368,1777_2689182,00.html I think I would take him at City. No doubt the guy is a risk but there is something there and we're not exactly spoiled for choice.
-
Tottenham bummed in the face by the referee Stick on pen and red card for Brown. Lucky Deflected goal, Robinson barely made a save apart from that. Giggs, Tevez, Nani, shite. etc. Blatantly going down.
-
We'll play worse than that and win I think. No bad really. If only Mpenza, Petrov or Elano could have taken there chances, might have nicked it on another day. Still well above the rags tho.
-
Ah, poop. I'm not that disappointed, I think we've aquited ourselves well and I doubt many teams will go there and have as many chances as we have - but to get so close to a point....
-
Bianchi on for Mpenza and Joe Hart on for Dracula please
-
Kasper Schmiechel I think we'll be lucky to keep this at nil. Not the usual Arsenal chancefest but they still look really dangerous. We look lively on the counter tho. Fingers crossed.

"I've never lost to City and I don't intend to start now" Gary Neville, 8/11/2002

Little Sam - "It's all big Sam's fault". (Basically) Link "When you try and implement change and that change doesn't manifest itself in results people start to question you. "But changes needed to be made because I identified there was a problem when we got 69 per cent of our points last season before Christmas. "I thought we were in a comfort zone and needed to change. It helps if you get results but I would like people to know this malaise has been around for some considerable time - since the turn of the year to be precise."

Taxi... Gerrard on the right. Rooney in the hole.
-
Both. I can't think of anyone who is out long term who would come into things further down the line.
-
--------------------- James ----------------- - Richards - Ferdinand - Terry - Cole - --------- Hargreaves - Barry ------------ ----- SWP ----- Gerrard ----- Cole ----- --------------------- Owen ----------------- Is what I would do. Altho Beckham will probably pick himself to play on the right. Lampard can fuck off. Carrick would probably get in ahead of Barry too as he plays for Manchester United and is therefore better.
-
Allardyce was absolutely desperate for the job last time. I don't think he would get the chance again tho cos of all that Panorama stuff. The FA will probably walk over broken glass to get Scolari. And they would be right too. Or get someone else proven at international level. PS: SWP > Joe Cole.

England's best players both came from Manchester City. I'm not being biased either. Well a little bit. But not that much. Is nice. McClaren out btw.
-
He's started the season well like. TBF the lad is fucking class. [/bias] You're not getting him back, you know. I know. Did you see that bit just then? Quality.
