  1. Yay thank you so much for not spending any money for three years so our new owners could use it, Mr Ashley. Any chance we could make use of the previous ten years unused budget, too? No? That's not fair play? Okay. Makes sense.
  2. These ads are starting to veer in to so shit they're good territory for me.
  3. Give the poor guy a break. He's had a rough six weeks. --- Have to laugh at 'we only do what we are 100% convinced off'. Like they would've been happy to throw €13m on a shot in the dark.
  4. The worst thing is that does actually look like a better selection of tat than NUFC currently offers. But yeah, has it come from anywhere official/trustworthy that we're slotting in to that Elite tier with the likes of Arsenal? Heard it so often I just assumed that it had come from a sound source.

    Joelinton

I hear after he posted that he removed all references to NUFC on his profile.
  6. There's a happy medium between what the club currently offers and doing a PSG. It'd be cool to get something going with Adidas that means there's some genuinely interesting items available to drive more casual interest and purchases aside from the obvious of kits, training gear etc. Not that I'll probably stump up the cash for such items but I'm sure many would if they put some genuine time and effort in.
  7. Seems rare to see clubs agree a deal before the player has given the go ahead these days. Makes it feel very club-driven where Miggy would stay if he could which makes it feel like we're kinda kicking a puppy here.
  8. I heard we were his boyhood club. Used to get Mitro on the back of his shirts.
  9. How much is that in hundreds of billions?

Head back to Brazil, Jow. Just get far, far away.
  11. £17m? Let's see.. Spread across five years minus the Trippier fee divided by Miggy's amortisation carry the 7.. Bargain.
  12. Apologies if posted already but shamelessly lifted from Reddit: I know there's more than enough of the season for it to change but holy shit if this wouldn't be amazing.
  13. He seems a proper weirdo. I've never known a current or former player to have such a disproportionately high opinion of himself compared to his actual career.
  14. If there's no FMV to consider and Man U want £50m each for Antony and Sancho I want £30m (allowing extra for the 'potential' tax on the other two for age).

    Jeff Hendrick

    Like a new signing.
  16. This is the problem. I've consistently said I want him on the bench for a year or two more but he's one of the most saleable assets that doesn't have a future as a starter. It's sad times but if it's anywhere near £20m I completely see why it's happening.
  17. So all this love over our badge just weeks prior means nothing to him? Fucking turncoat. Seriously though, if he can fund some FFP wiggle room I understand and wish him all the best. Be interesting to see what sort of fee he fetches.
  18. And to think I figured this thread couldn't get shitter until a sale actually happened.
  19. I was wholly unsurprised to find out it was Crumpy Gunt via a forum search.
  20. I've been reliably informed he's a total freak and an absolute weirdo, too.
  21. Well further to my previous posts if we squeezed £25m out of them then I'd accept we've made the best of a shit situation.
  22. Not trying to start an argument, genuinely just curiosity, but for the people rationalising with 'if we get good money for him'.. What do you think is good money for him? Because however much we value him, I think we'll be lucky to exceed £15m considering it appears he's pushing for the move, 33 years old and has 18 months on his contract.
  23. I keep telling myself there has to be more to this. Said it yesterday but I see no reason why the club or Howe would see value in this deal. The top end of what we could get for him is barely going to get a quality bench option, let alone someone that can offer the kind of leadership he does off the pitch, on the pitch, being the focal point of attack. Seriously fucking gutted about this.
  24. I appreciate there's not as big a pool of players to pick from compared to the men's game but I'm surprised this isn't taken more in to consideration tbh. I pissed myself laughing when someone recommended I tried out in goal just for my school team back in the day yet one quick scroll through squad lists on whoscored.com and I've seen there's at least two goalkeepers in the Super League that have the same declared height as me.. I'm 5 foot 6.
  25. I need some replays that focus on the 'keeper as that looks awful on his part.
