The whole situation's a joke. I don't think there can ever be a good solution tbh. A lot of games need to be played these days. Of course England need friendlies, but when else can they do them? Even if they get placed earlier in the season, it's only going to push fixtures back and cause congestion in the PL later in the season. The FA are twats, don't get me wrong. This whole idea of banning players is ridiculous to the extreme. But unfortunately we will forever be complaining about fixture congestion.

And, for what it's worth, I don't think it was a sending off. Forster just spread himself out as he went to ground for the ball, whoever the Rangers guy was, was diving before he reached Forster, ended up kneeing the poor fucker in the head, as soon as he came too he was seeing red waved in his face. Was a shit decision IMO.

Think it's a good move. Can't remember when they havn't stuck with a manager in their relegation seasons, apart from Megson but that was because he wouldn't sign on for further years, wasn't it? Could do with a bit of a shake up rather than the sticking with the same guy route.
