They have togetherness.
-
So, can I just make sure your stance is clear. You'd be content if our team purposely threw a game big time because they figured they'd lose it anyway?
-
What's Tiote like? Wouldn't say next goal to come from a penalty at 13.00 is too bad
-
And replace him with who? Barton has to play in there with Tiote. I don't care how brilliant he has supposedly been on the right. There's no more Carroll to aim for now. Barton in the middle, more for his engine than anything else. He will find good form in the centre alongside Tiote. Guthrie can then play on the right. Nolan should not be in that Newcastle midfield. Guthrie on the right? Might as well put him in the middle in place of Nolan and leave Barton out there.

God no. They're trying their hardest out there. The team spirit is immense in this group of lads
-
Is the answer. I'm not happy at all about what's happened this January. But there's no getting away from the fact that the same team that started this year undefeated in 4 has cacked their pants at losing a player who wouldn't have even fucking played today. Quite simply, the team morale, when high, does wonders for us, but when things go against us, they fall to pieces in an instant. If they need to be constantly riding on the crest of a wave to keep going then we've got trouble.

fucking hell. I'm out. See ya later lads.
-
At least Barton's trying to do something.
-
I've spent way too much time searching for a good stream just to be welcomed by this shower of shite.
-
Fuck sake. I just got the game on and they scored. It's now back off.

Agreed 100% When the hell is Andy Carroll going to be worth more than £35m? Even if he realises his potential I assume by then there would be some kind of financial regulations in place within football to stop enormous fees in the future. So long as the money is invested in the TEAM in the summer, Ashley did a very good bit of business with the Carroll sale. agree. especially when caroll asked nufc to match the wages liverpool was offering him! atm i like the wage-structure we have....its the only way to progress and it will more or less only attract players who really want to play for us! Yep. Said the same thing myself yesterday. Would be gutted if we broke our wage structure to accomodate a money-hungry player. The wage bill should be a bit less in the championship. Thats where unambitious, badly run clubs wind up. What about ambitious clubs that spend way beyond their means and end up with financial problems so big that they get a 10 pt deduction and get relegated? At least they're trying.

For fuck sake. The first time I poke my head in this section after the match and I see this thread. Really?
-
Right then, this has been fun. I'm off to Gen Chat and the FM thread for a couple of nights. See ya!
-
On what basis? No Carroll. And we've never won a game without Carroll. Obviously.
-
Uncreative. Can't blame any one player for this result imo. The whole team just hasn't clicked at all tonight.
-
We just can't break them down. No lack of effort, we just genuinely seem stumped as to how to get through them. Fulham managed to get their act together, we just can't do a thing.
-
That's probably why Nile's not focusing properly this half, too.
-
Not that it matters. Toon have been ten times worse. Yep. Bad reffing, but this loss is on the players' shoulders without a doubt.
-
What the fuck was Loven even trying to do there?
-
Fuck it. At least it's something different.
-
Surprise surprise.

I want to rant about Jonas taking that shot right there, but it got a corner I guess. Lucky bastard.
