  1. Well it's obvious Ashley wants to sell him. He's gone.
  2. He'd obviously get more out of the players than Ancelotti.
  3. Tozer's the future of this club, man.
  4. Well, no. Funnily enough I just got on with everyday life. A concept clearly lost on a sad, alcoholic bore such as yourself. That before or after your 52 attempts to login?
  5. I'm a fan of Willi, but what makes you think a 27 year old will improve but a 24 year old has hit his peak?
  6. I don't see how we can say it cost us points though. Pointless side of the argument. If he hadn't have conceded that, we could've held out for a bit longer. But Man City could've put more urgency into their play, and potentially opened us up and we could've lost 1-0. On the other hand, if he did still give that goal away, and Tiote didn't then gift a second, our players could've still fought for a goal, got the equaliser, and gone on to win. Just all seems like a pointless part of the argument.
  7. Sums it up blef. Scum. The lottery thing is a good way of putting it. They're the Michael Carroll of the football world. And hopefully they'll go the same way as that scabby twat did when the money dried up.
  8. I think that's my biggest problem with Man City these days. From what I've seen and heard their fans have had a massive transformation to arrogant cunts who think it's their God-given right to now be challenging for the title. They don't appreciate the lucky break they've been given, they just see Chelsea who got in with a shitload of money and think they should automatically be doing it, too.
  9. When you're young, you're not always going to make the immediate obvious decision. You'll make ricks like that. Yes, he's already been taught that, and undoubtedly he's cleared his lines in situations like that before. But sometimes there's just moments like yesterday his concentration will slip and he'll make the wrong decision. The more he plays, the more he'll cut things like that out as he gets older, wiser, calmer and more focused.

I'm sure it's what most players are thinking tbh. He's just addicted to Twitter so tells everyone
  11. Everyone keeps ruining my dream of HBA in the middle!
  12. I've always been a fan of Jonas. Even up until recently. But there's only so long we can carry a player that needs a 'kick up the ass' every few games. There's a point where we just need a more reliable player. He's not good enough, even on his day, to be let off for that.
  13. Still wouldn't mind seeing Routledge replace Jonas for a few games, see how he'd do.
  14. Exactly. The only argument against Barton on the right is 'it's not his natural position'. It's his most useful position for us, right now. That's the most important thing. To move Barton to the middle means ditching Nolan. Not gonna happen. It's gonna put Nolan back off the shoulder of Carroll, and he's much less effective. Overall, Barton in the middle would be more of a detriment to the team than Barton on the right.

    Alan Pardew

Same. Was surprised at the amount of people that considered it a good formation tbh. I think that's why I'm not so pissed off at the result, as I was expecting the worst, and ended up mildly impressed we managed to control the game as much as we did in such a formation (no matter what the circumstances were).
  16. It crossed my mind that whatever was posted in the Vaguely Amusing thread must have been really fucking bad and the site got closed down
  17. Sweet. Really was worried! Cheers Dave
