  1. I agree. But in our position are we really going to find someone as good as him? The reason we have to rely on some players with baggage is because we're not good enough to fight with other clubs for the ones with as much skill but no baggage. One saving grace is that at least he's not causing bust ups within the squad anymore, and he seems an integral part to the team spirit.

What's he trying to say? It just makes me think he's saying Ranger's a bad player
  3. Yes. Yes, that's what it is.
  4. THIS is the Neil we need to overturn the status quo! I want you drunk off your tits Saturday afternoon and we shall defeat them!
  5. nah, he couldnt even get a game for portsmouth Eh?
  6. Basically, he's had two signings you could say were failures (Perch and Best). That's a pretty damn good transfer record for a rookie manager considering how many signings he made.
  7. That's what I don't get, why do people expect a barnstormer of a game with the top teams? Either going to be a complete one sider with one team on form and the other having a bad day at the office. Or it's going to be an absolute bore of a game as they're both so well-matched it'll be one or two moments that seperates them. More often than not, it's going to be the latter.
  8. Imagine a triple threat of me, you and Neil. The guy wouldn't win a penny ever again. Just out of spite, let's do it with Belo too!!
  9. Fergie's reaction? What'd he say/do?
  10. I wouldn't argue against either Willi or Taylor ability-wise tbh. Although the Taylor contract issue admittedly clouds my judgement right now, rightly or wrongly.
  11. But we'd be top for crotch grabbing. And what really matters most? Really?
  12. Piss off. If I'd done that, Arsenal would've got an equaliser in injury time.
  13. I can't work out if you're taking the piss about the Perch thing...
  14. After singing songs about Roeder's brain tumour they lost all respect from me. They don't really deserve FSA, they deserve much worse than him, Kinnear or lower. This. And the Gold/Sullivan/Brady triple threat of cuntness. I feel bad saying it, as half my family are Hammers fans, and I've met some really sound West Ham fans. But the cons outweigh the pros, and I'd much rather see them go down in a blaze of flaming dogshit.
  15. Nah, half-decent is fine for it's purpose. I hate you for even having the choice
  16. Let's just hope it stays with Hughton going. That's my biggest worry. The best thing this team has going for it is the spirit, that they fight for each other, they share every positive that happens, and feel the pain of every bad moment. If that changes under Pardoo, then that's the point I fear we'll get dragged down. Without that spirit, we're back to the attitude that took us down.
  17. That's one I could see happening. Can't see many other clubs to potentially soon lose a manager taking a punt on him. And fucking hell I hope it does happen.
  18. Be wrapped up soon. Surprised the yanks haven't canned the poor get already tbh. Probs analysing shortlist as we speak. Jol.......Hiddink......Hitzfeld....Rikjaard......Hughton...... .....Allardyce!!! Oh my god let this happen! Tho the downfall would be, Allerdyce would create a smug cloud the size of europe. I think that would be a small price to pay. Because after he got sacked in less than a year, he'd never get a shot at a properly good sized job again
  19. I think he'll look at the beginning of our season, and that Willicini was our first team pairing, and go back to that. Doesn't seem the sort that wants to rock the boat, and will try and keep status quo as much as possible until the furore dies down.
  20. Half the players he signs here won't be his choice. So it evens out
  21. This. If they're sacking Allardyce this quickly they're going to look for a big name. And if that's the case, if/when they fail in that, they'll probably go 'reputation' over Hughton's current hype.
  22. Was it not KK that made him captain? I remember at the time we were struggling for leaders but he is the opposite of one. Disgusting little loach. Was a strange choice. Well, not really strange, we know he done it to coerce him into staying. But Nolan is a fantastic leader. What he lacks on the pitch skill wise, he more than makes up for in his leadership. I do love this team right now, just such a likeable group of lads.
  23. I think Barton's delivery from the right has been very important. Why cut our crossing potential in half when we have Andy Carroll in the box? Because it's not like he'll be playing rugby if switched to the left? He'll still be the same player and can cut inside and cross (much like his freekicks from the left which have created a goal or two this season). If you're willing to put Routledge in the first team then I'd much prefer keeping Barton in that perfect right hand role for him, and try Routledge on the left and allow him to cut inside.
  24. Of course they will. Don't know if they'll justify a ban but a fine is coming for sure.
