  1. What a legend. I never want him to leave! Never!!
  2. Agree with the majority here. Fantastic when he reaches the ball, but the times he doesn't puts us under a lot of pressure. Still a bit excitable but as long as he's given the chance I can see it being sorted in good time.
  3. He looks like a cartoon villain when he's angry So fucking awesome when he gets like that.
  4. Has he even done anything at Sheffield Utd yet? Last I knew he was doing pretty shit there.
  5. Done the same with Torres, though I'm cursed ATM so happy whatever. My captains have been strikers for the last 11 weeks and none of them have scored a single goal before Drogba's penalty last week, and you think your cursed? I was actually planning to sell him but kept him for our game just so he dosn't score against us, got Torres for today as well. And now you've explained your aim is to curse him, he's gonna get a hat trick and get those points for you
  6. That's why I had to ask. Figured it'd be unbearable putting him on Liverpool matches. The few times I've watched I didn't recall him doing them, figured there had to be a reason. Don't generally watch Soccer Saturday anymore anyway.

    La Liga - 10/11

Like 1 too meself. 3 would be a bit harsh on unicef, would barely notice it.
  8. I thought when they said about Barfa returning in January, that meant training. But either way, Ashley doesn't think with any sense of logic. It's down to impulse and whimsy with this twatbag.
  9. Does he cover Liverpool matches normally?
  10. Tiss using Southampton as an example of getting a manager out through non-attendance of fans and Nicholas tries to use them as a yo-yo club that weren't established in the PL. Tiss was talking about the mid-90s btw The Phil Thompson 'I support Liverpool, don't you know!' show is so old now. Just plain irritating.
  11. How is he doing there atm? Houllier brought him back into the team and put a bit of responsibility back on him, didn't he?
  12. The why some people are going on you think we where going to be wearing pillow cases. Maaama where gonna lynch us a cockney today :/ Pardon?
  13. I don't know, man. Along with Tiss, he's still talking some of the better sense even on that completely muddled argument there. Which is quite a sad indictment on the rest of them!
  14. Thank you Merse. Nicholas annoying me with this 'catch 22'. Only absolute tards are willing us to lose to hurt the team.
  15. I can't work out what this means. Are they going to resist offers for him non-stop? Or will they give in? Dreading January...
  16. See you've failed with step 1, 3 and 4. See, Bolton it is. awesome Sewelly.
  17. Why would they cancel because a change of manager? Who knows what will happen in the coming games before that, and there's still the incentive or watching the mackems smack us out of their ground in revenge while our players apathetically stroll around not giving a shit.

    La Liga - 10/11

I assume how you're feeling is what people felt when it filtered in in the 70s/80s. With the added feeling of disappointment that you're one of the last out there, and you've finally given in. It is a shame, just one of those things I've always associated with Barca really. But it'll feel normal in one or two years.
  19. I heard he's off to Bolton. They'll ease him into the team ready for when Davies retires (he's retiring next season). My source has never lied before, no reason not to believe him.
  20. Maan, good times! Imagine if we got that lucky.
  21. And get who in? Right now, beggars can't be choosers and I can't see us investing in a player with as much of a range of passing and creativity, which we'll be bereft of if we ditch him.

    Keegan on Ashley

Spot on KK. Interesting that he thinks Pardew's a good manager though...
  24. You made some good points however I'm not sure about the one above. I don't believe we have lost 20K fans, rather I believe 20K+ fans simply can't afford STs atm. I know I can't.. The club has lost too many fans, NUFC could sell out an 80k stadium if the football was superb. Blaming the current crowds on people not being able to afford it, is clutching at straws quite frankly. Agreed. I understand there will be unfortunate fans such as yourself who can't afford it. But 20,000? On the flipside, as neesy says, if we're stable and progressing, there will be fans who can afford it adding their names to the list as much, if not more than, people who can't afford it taking their name off. To lose a 20,000 person waiting list is a fucking joke.
