I was clamouring as much as anyone for us to start giving Hall and Tino a try when we were starting to show some weaknesses. But Howe is clearly big on fostering a mentality in the squad that I think hinges on players earning the shirt in match situations. He seems to have fostered a squad mentality that's only put Ryan Fraser's nose out of joint in two years whilst taking us on our best extended run since Sir Bobby. I'll trust the method.

I just don't know how he can look so part of the furniture already. And to know he's not just a fearless kid coming in to get Pardewed or Bruced, but that he's going to have his clear talent harnessed by Eddie bloody Howe is fantastic. Composed, tidy, think we're going to see him play more and more Brunoesque balls as he progresses. His reading of the game defensively is superb too. Seems to get in the way of so much.
