  1. He clearly does, like Does he? He comes on here & says his bit, logs off and leaves behind a load of posters squabbling over him. He'll return in 3 or 4 days and repeat the same trick. He doesn't care. There's no stopping him. Incorrect.
  2. Almost as bewildering and sad as your desire to shoot people's hopes down, to be fair. You'd think discussing the potential takeover in a positive light affected you on a deeply personal level, given the consistency of your appearances in here. There's room for level-headedness and hesitancy for sure, but logging on to the forum on a daily basis just to belittle people for having hope is pretty embarrassing, and that's pretty much the sum of your recent post history.
  3. To be fair, if you're putting yourself out there as an ITK you're opening yourself up to flack like, especially given the forum's history with this sort of thing. I fully understand anyone expressing doubt or cynicism. Most of Mimms predictions have been on the safe and vague side so far, this one is a lot more bold. Let's see how it plays out, but not get too excited.
  4. Shouldn't you know, moderator? How on Earth should I know that? IP check Shares an IP range with you according to the forum's IP checker. Good attempt at misdirection, Ben Nottingham? Dunno I'm assuming you both just share a dynamic IP range, along with 100+ other users.

  6. Penn's obsession with shooting down people in this thread is weird, like. I don't think he's Luke Edwards though, he isn't quite that insufferable.
  7. At least the masses are finally turning on him, even if it's taken a bafflingly long time.

    Jeff Hendrick

Plays exactly the way you'd expect a footballer called Jeff Hendrick to play.
  9. Nah, it's shite. Watching on tele is far more than a watered down experience. I'd pay a small fortune for a ticket to a music festival but I wouldn't pay to watch the show on tele, you're paying for the live experience, the day out. For a company that hate their product being pirated as much as the Premier League do, they're incredibly gifted when it comes to pushing people towards it. It's so easy to find a stream nowadays that anyone paying £15 to watch Steve Bruce's Newcastle play wants throwing in a looney bin. But if you don’t normally go, you’d not be watching anyway. If you do normally go, you’re not paying for tickets. I’d have probably paid £5 a match, think they’ve priced themselves out saying £15. I’ll just watch the normal dodgy route if I’m that bothered. They've been offering these games for free because of the pandemic, suddenly charging for them when nothing has changed is obviously going to cause ill will. In fact, all it'll do is cause Jeff to invite his mates around to watch the match on the sly to save them all paying £15.
  10. Mainly to the clubs, but TV companies need their costs covering etc. The TV companies will have been absolutely raking it in over the last few months. Their costs will be more than covered.

  12. Darlow is an okay back up, but is clearly miles behind Dubravka in every single metric that you could possibly judge a goalkeeper on. And for that reason, Bruce will pick him for the rest of the season.
  13. Ben Arfa is a more technically gifted player, but if they were both at their very best and surrounded by top players, I'd prefer to have ASM as his pace and power make him almost entirely unplayable.

    Jeff Hendrick

Going to end up disliking this bloke because of Bruce. Should never, ever be on the right wing in a premier league team.
  15. ASM and Almiron should be playing just behind Wilson. It's the most painfully obvious thing I've ever seen and would help nullify our glaringly obvious weaknesses elsewhere in the team.
  16. A good manager would have had ASM nowhere near Lamptey. ASM should be stood in their half waiting for us to attack, not pissing about pretending to be a wingback.
  17. Our midfield, if we even have one, has been an absolute disgrace
  18. Almiron needs to be on the pitch here, ridiculous decision to leave him out.
