  1. A point at wolves is fine, they're a decent team. Have to agree with the comments on the lack of substitutions. The summer signings are looking like really poor decisions at the moment, if we aren't utilising them when we're this threadbare.
  2. Why are VAR checking for handball when it was blatantly offside anyway?
  3. Shite decision that like never a penalty. VAR is so pointless
  4. They were the better team, fully deserved win. We were too slow and allowed them to get back into their shape too easily. We just can't play at that tempo as we don't have a creative midfielder. Learning curve.
  5. Credit to them, but it's a while since I've seen us this off it. Really struggling with their pace
  6. Going to be a very tough ask to get top 4, we look good but so do Liverpool, Spurs, Villa, Chelsea and Brighton. The mancs will pick up enough points to be there or thereabouts too. Winning the CL may be the safest bet.
  7. Yeah. I think as a fanbase we have a tendency to slightly overrate Rafa as a coach/tactician. He galvanized the club and gave us a resoluteness on the pitch, but I think the love most of us feel for him probably comes from what he represented - someone who was delivering results in spite of Ashley, rather than being a croney for him. Howe is on a different level for me. I don't believe Rafa could have done anywhere close to the job he's done - I don't think many managers could have. Truly an incredible job he's done.
  8. Is there a more complete full back in the world?
  9. Best goal difference in the league, impressive stuff considering how challenging the season has been so far.
  10. Came in here to say the exact same thing, unwatchable
  11. Can't wait till we're as mint as Man City so we don't have to have as many match threads for games where we don't win
  12. Aye. It's just a good strike. The problem wasn't Tonali's contribution, it was the shape of the team and lack of coordination in the press that led to their attack developing. It's easy to look at football in the last instance and say things like "why didn't he throw himself in the way of it", but it shouldn't really have got to that point, and I have no doubt it wouldn't have if we weren't showing obvious signs of fatigue in the last ten minutes.
  13. Good point from a difficult fixture, threadbare, with an emotional, if not physical, hangover from Wednesday. The way it happened was frustrating, but I would've taken 2-2 before kick off.
  14. How does it take so long man, it's off a west ham head, he isn't active from the initial kick surely.
  15. Really sloppy by Tonali, not sure how that isn't a red for Bruno.
  16. West Ham will be pushing for top 8 this season in my opinion, they have a good team on paper and are playing with confidence at the moment. Today will be tough.
  17. Mbappe completely abandoned that left hand side in the second half and went wandering, knew he wasn't getting any change out of Tripps.
  18. Absolutely done Enrique tonight, completely had his and PSG's number. Elite manager.
  19. He just tried to pass it didn't he? Didn't look like a petulant one to me, I was surprised the ref booked him tbh.
  20. Pretty sure the 11 they put out yesterday cost more than any team we've fielded this season.

    Lewis Hall

Looks like he's got talent but is very raw and looked nervy, which is understandable given it was his home debut. Probably some way to go until he's starting games in the PL.

    Tino Livramento

Grealish knows how good this kid is, never once had the belief that he could take him on
  23. Tonali is well and truly playing within himself, looks nothing like the player we saw against Villa. Tino has been our best player by some distance, really impressed.
  24. I love Pope for some of his heroics for us, but you can't sustain playing with a keeper who is so scared of making a simple pass, we need to upgrade asap.
