The English invented the game and we've never produced sides that play anything like the football Barca play. i think you'll find the entertainers we're really good to watch and man utd's football last season was breathtaking Just as good to watch but a different brand of football altogether. Only really boring because of one team, unfortunately. Not totally, Barca's need to keep the ball no matter what kills the game stone dead iyam, yes they're great at keeping the ball but they try to over do it. They take any pace and excitement out the game but this dreary three yard pass and move game that a lot of the time gets them nowhere is very boring to me. Give me a premiership game any day of the week, not as pretty but a hell of a lot more entertaining.

Stoke maybe but Bolton? They have 10 points from their last 5 home games, which is pretty good. Why should Hull be able to quite easily beat them? They're not that good. If Hull go in needing to win to survive then there's no reason why they can't, it's Bolton ffs not Arsenal or Chelsea.

Hull getting back into it was just as much about Villa bottling it and sitting on the point than them improving. They're not that bad though, could quite easily beat Stoke or Bolton imo.

My mind seems to change every 5 mins, at the moment I think we've got a real shot of staying up. If we continue with the 4-2-3-1 formation i think we'll have enough to beat Boro as they'll play more open than Pompey did and we DO have the quality to score goals, especially with Viduka in the side. Owen's got to be back in for me and so has Jonas. If we beat Boro I genuinely think we'll pick up another win maybe even 4 points against 2 sides that will be playing out the season comfortably and without needing to fight for anything. Fulham won't get a Uefa spot and Villa have 5/6th sewn up. Villa are just the type of side we're good against too, a team that plays openly and not ridiculously aggressively. If we want it I don't think 3 points are out of the question there. But there's the stumbling block and the thought that brings me right back down to earth. We're fucking gutless and there's no leadership at all on the pitch, no fight, no determination, no creativity, no pace and above all little quality in key areas. I've literally changed my mind again whilst typing. It will be fucking tight, but don't give up yet you bloody bastards.
