This is relegation form. I don't know how you can deny that. You don't throw away 2 goal leads at home to teams like Stoke and expect to get away with it. Before the last 3 games I would have expected us to take 3 or 4 points in total from them. We have 3, not in the way we thought but to go away to Boro and Chelsea and get points doesn't indicate relegation form to me.

I'm as annoyed as everyone else but you can twist that and say that we were close to being 6 points better off. at least we are scoring goals and still picking up points and close to picking up wins that we would have seen through on another day. He's been out of football for ages and never was the best manager but he's turned us into a football team again and we're 100x better off than we were under Hughton, some people have got short fucking memories. Oh give it a fucking rest man. Yes we know he's better than Hughton, why do people have to keep bringing that up? It doesn't excuse Kinnear for a second, so stop saying it. It was the right decision to take Oba off last week imo, but today it was wrong, Owen looked really lethargic and had 3 players closing him down whenever he got the ball 2nd half.

It works because we don't have a striker in the box who is capable of getting on the end of crosses consistently, so the only way to get any joy is to pass it around. If the wingers stay on the wing they get isolated, leaving the centre midfielders isolated and therefore the strikers isolated. Take our second goal vs Villa for the best example, if anything the winger opposite to Jonas should be encouraged to roam more, as Butt and Guthrie don't venture forward at all.
