I'm trying to think of ways this news is going to backfire, like Martins to play left wing or something forcing a half fit Shola to play, it's too hardwired into me not to expect the worst.

Is Vieira injured at the moment, haven't heard about him in a while, wouldn't mind him on loan till the end of the season and I think it's a doable deal.
-
Terrible defending, the ball was in the air for ages, it fell in the middle of the box, they let him bring it down turn and then shoot all without a challenge being put in.
-
I was just watching it then, Redknapp's like a school kid, always butting in desperate to get his 'point' across.
-
I'd take Noble as well.

Which time? Done it about 4 times tonight.

Given Beye Coloccini Bassong Enrique Jonas Geremi Guthrie Zog (but will be Duff) Owen Martins

From the stream it sounded like the away end was in fine voice throughout. Yeah the support from only 1500 was very good throughout. Towrads the end there was a raucous "SHIT GROUND! SHIT FANS!" followed by "40,000 Muppets" to which the home fans just gawped and offered no reply. Comical as well, how long it took the home fans to realised Joe Cole's goal had been disallowed. A good ten seconds of celebrating before the meek sit down. Hilarious that, was having a bit of banter with this one bloke the whole game as I was near the side and it must have took him 10-15 seconds to realise as he was busy shouting stuff at me, it's fair to say I laughed my arse off at the stupid twat.

By the way, Diablo - you're a really good poster, why do you have to come out with that condescending shit? It's a forum, people have opinions. You've basically just contradicted yourself cos of the first sentences of that post - ie, you gave an opinion. It's hard to put into words what I mean but it seems like because JK isn't what I'd call a proven top flight manager, many people think that just because they disagree with what he does then it is the wrong thing to do and because of that he's a shit manager, cunt etc. They don't come across as opinions to me as an opinion is believing something in essence whilst being able to take on board the thoughts of others and accepting that it might be different to yours, but when someone is saying they hate someone just because of the way he plays or what subs he makes just makes them look ignorant. Like the substituting Jonas thread, no offence, but I just think that is a case of the love of a player getting in the way of reality and looking at a situation objectively, he was knackered when Duff wasn't and their play was coming mostly down his side meaning he was susceptible to being caught out or making a poor challenge which might mean losing him for the next 2 games. And it wasn't like his attacking ability should be reason for him to stay on as we were defending for our lives. I can take and enjoy reading different opinions. I didn't mean know better than me btw, I meant JK. He may not be the best but he has won us some games and got us out of the relegation zone (for now admittedly) he's done a lot for us when no one else would take it and I just think he's not getting the respect he deserves. I'm not sure what anyone was expecting when he took over a 10 game unbeaten run or something? He's done about as well as I for one could have hoped, and not for two late goals against Wigan and City we could easily be 4 points better off. Also how can you say he doesn't care after that rant to the press where he mentioned attacks on the players?
-
Shearer comes in as manager and makes the same decision there'd be no complaints, i'm reading stuff on here and it's not opinions, they actually believe that what they think is right and if JK doesn't do it he's a clueless twat, cunt etc. Fucking pathetic, what do you want from the guy?
-
I don't get the JK hate really, he's instilled a bit of confidence and turned us into a half decent side. It's not ideal but then it never was going to be, i'm not exactly happy that he's here for another month, but things could have been a hell of a lot worse than they are. He got his tactics spot on today and I don't buy this stuff about his subs being super shit, he made the right ones today and I think it's a bit unfair he gets it in the neck for bringing Jonas off, it was exactly the sort of decision he should be taking (under the circumstances) and it fucks me off he gets abuse just because he isn't a big name. Sick of people thinking they know better, fuck off.

Walking out at 86 min still 0-0 86? Some were leaving at 80.
-
Are we game of the day of football first by any chance?
-
They played well but were only acting as a wall really, when it comes to playing teams where we push up and need to be a bit more crafty and organised i'm yet to be convinced. Enrique in particular looks dodgy when pushing up.
-
Looked out on his feet towards the end, Duff was still getting back, and he was on a yellow.
-
Whole team was outstanding, Coloccini is an absolute rock and Bassong looked a perfect partner for him. Thought Butt and Guthrie were excellent, bar a few of Butt's usual pass-without-looking balls which went stray. As for Chelsea, shit ground, shit fans, enough said.

For me too, first time since the change.

If that's the 1-0 Kalou last second wanker, I disagree completely. They were pretty quiet IYAM, seeing as they weren't dominating and actually didn't deserve to win. The best that season were you (both times, big banner the second), Manure (sang all game) and bindippers. it might have just been at the back where I was but I thought they were quite good, got that "Chelsea, chelsea, chelseeaaa, chelsea" one going for about 15 mins.
-
Chelsea were class when I stood with them at Watford couple of seasons ago.

Depressing but true.
