Order seems to be restored. The season we finished 5th, most people on here were cautious and a bit pessimistic ahead of each game. Combine that with the at most times negative play we had, the two negatives became positive and we won. Last season we expected too much, and were quite positive in terms that we predicted wins a lot more. Combine that positive with the negative play, we ended up negative and lost. This season has potential.

I know, it was just the way it was stated. My mind started to wander.

Nothing to do with the conversation we are having about the Carroll money mind but You don't have to go back long to find the club being praised on here for its set up of bringing in players, the same people who are kicking off right now no doubt, and the same people praising them in January. Arsenal-aside, in recent years we're the only club in the Premier League that on the whole never spend more than we bring in. I'll always have a problem with that. That statement really makes me wonder how your personal economy is for some reason.

Fair play like. Glad he's gone, we are doing a decent job of getting rid of the shite. If Williamson goes it would have been a great clear out job. Wish there were more players with that mentality. It's too bad this kind of stuff needs to be applauded due to the rarity of this happening. He was probably on quite high wages due to arriving on a free transfer, so hopefully this frees up a good chunk to be invested in a better player in a more critical position.
