I think we should be more fluid than locking down on a specific formation. I don't think that is the plan as of now, but sometimes it seems like we are. Should be an easy task given the personnel we have at hand. Much like AS is saying a few post up. When attacking, give Ben Arfa lisence to roam wherever he want, and keep the two guys up top, making it into a 4-3-1-2 sort of formation.

Didn´t Ben Arfa give the ball to Cisse? Seemed like something the players decided on between themselves. Shows good team spirit, and would have been applauded in the same way it is now criticized had Cisse scored.

We could play this game all day long. The bottom line yesterday is we had 2 clear goals chalked off hence we're obviously very annoyed we aren't sitting on 9 points. That unfortunately - and I say unfortunately because they're the talking points in what was a contender for the best game for the neutral so far this season - can't really be overlooked. Don't buy the "luck evens itself out" bollocks. It often doesn't and at the end of the season, that point gained for you and the 2 dropped from us here could prove pivotal in potential European qualification.

We´ll definitely see a stronger team out against the better teams in the group. I thought Pardew sent out a good team all things considered. The result wasn´t too shabby either. A weakened team against the worst team in the group is hardly a shocking decision our schedule considered. Baffled that someone is thinking this is Pardew throwing away the cup.

Eh ?. First half aside (Cisse should have scored and a clearance of the line) . The second half we could have scored 4 ourselves. Mrs. Bimpy must have done something with either your mind or sight. Never in a million years did we deserve anything from this game...not that Im complaining
