    Sunderland...

It can´t possibly go any worse for them by sacking him, but it could have if he stayed. I do not approve of this.

  3. Yup, just about sums the whole thread up

  5. Seem to recall Bernard wanted 25k pr week to reflect his position in the team (which would still be one of the lowest wages in the first team) and Shepherd not budging on the 20k offer he made him. After he left and went to Rangers(?), Le Guen though he would be better if he was slimmer. and put him on a diet. To bad that he was pure muscle, and thus lost his explosiveness. The 2002-2005 Bernard was great even though he had a few brainfarts now and again. Still only 32.

Really fucking annoying if you ask me. 1-2 steps forwards (which there is good time to do)., and the whole situation is solved. Poor, poor defending. Handball or not.

I won´t drop Nani from my fantasy team, to put it that way

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Yep, stick him out there and let him roam. Im not sure what I prefer, but a good argument for this after todays game is that if he gets in similar positions to what he did today, the ball would be on his left foot. Edit: assuming you mean the right wing that is.
  9. Could have been worse. We came out of this with our pride, character and team spirit still intact. Feel sorry for Raylor, but he just isn´t a defender.
  10. Awful defending by Raylor. Just close the distance so the shot cannot be fired. He had good time to do so as well.

Of course it's taking out, I take money out of my bank account on a daily basis. I put it in and I take it out. Suppose you loaned some of your money to a company. If the company paid some of it back (with no interest) do you consider that you have taken money out of that company? I can't see that you have since all you have done is get a repayment of what you loaned in the first place. On the other hand if you charged 6% interest on the loan then you have taken money out because you did not put the interest into the company in the first place. The company has had to somehow earn the interest in order to be able to pay it to you. If I loaned a company money and they re-paid it of course I'd consider that I'd taken money out of that company. I understand that Ashley has saved us money by not charging interest, he's still taken at least £6 million out, even if it is the money that he put in. people have lost the fucking plot here like Just to clarify: He would be taking money back from the company. Mick: If you loaned money to a friend, and later ended up needing the money and asked to get the money back: Would you take money from your friend, or would you get your money back?

To be fair to him, at least he's doing something. Standing there with a sign saying 'Sack the board', though? The funny thing is that he is standing there with a board that is saying sack the board. That may be down to my bad humor though, but I´ll take anything I can get these days.
  13. It´d be interesting to speak to the man, sucking up to him and lull him into a sense of great trust between us just so when I asked him about everything that´s gone on and future plans, I knew he´d give me a 100% honest answer. The thing is, anyone who genuinely cares for the club knows fuck all, which leads to a huge amount of assumptions. No one on here knows dip shit. That´s just the brutal truth. Im not saying this to defend or attack the man, just that it would be interesting to hear what he had to say.
  14. Only thing that works would be for people to not attend games. Im not attending matches, so I feel dumb for suggesting it, but I would gladly miss three-four matches if it meant they would change the name back. Screw the "players doesn´t deserve it" and similar arguements. They will understand why.

Dyer < Rae Shearer < Quinn Solano < Summerbee No brainer tbh.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

See this is what happens when you assume Jonas was crap yesterday however given that he ran his bollocks off earlier in the week I think he is allowed a duffer. I do still worry about his attacking which has almost ground to a halt. A few times yesterday he received the ball in good positions and the crowd were baying for him to scurry down the wing but he just waited and played the ball back or sideways. Hopefully Pardew can find a way to get both parts of his game working in tandem.

You had me until you mentioned Wolves.
  18. + bigger and better in the air. I would also prefer Colo of the two.
  19. Would be cool if the management were able to loan out Abeid and Vuckic to e.g. a newly promoted CC team so they could work on a central partnership together.
  20. His hand, which was far from his body, stopped the ball, which was going towards an open goal/Krul. Stonewall penalty. + his arm/hand was not not rooted to the ground as well. Clearest penalty not given this season from the games I´ve seen. How anyone can try to justify why the penalty was not given is simply baffling
  21. Not sure how you will be able to do that, but if you are, please take out Ba instead of Best.
  22. Ben Arfa on for Ba would be the sex in this match now that Cabaye is out.
  23. Oh god, are we there already? I cringe every time I hear "In Rafa/Wenger we trust". Please, let's not make that a "thing" on here
