That sig man. What the f***? Get it removed please. Agreed. Quite disturbing for a forum, not that I really care but its a bit too much for many I think. Ditto. My stomach twists when I see it. Please remove it.

They do archive results from tests etc you know, and they do have staff that worked there before he arrived.

Even without the ones who have left, Krul, Coloccini, Tiote, Cabaye, Jonas, Ben Arfa, Ba, etc. is the core of a good solid top 8 squad. If players want to leave that then that's their choice but we're still attractive. Besides from Cabaye and Ben Arfa, which of those players has been proven as capable at playing consistently in a top 8 side of any European league, let alone the Premiership..? Even then, those 2 have it all to prove in the Prem. Coloccini at Deportivo and Ba at Hoffenheim. Krul is a talent that many top clubs have been interested in, has games for NT. Jonas has played in the WC.

At first I thought Daves replies the last half year were serious, as 80% of them are just a short one line reply with something sarcastic about saving money, but now I´m starting to think that he may be on a trolling quest the internet has never seen the likes of.

No love lost from either side makes this enjoyable news to me.

Marveux - Left wing/attacking midfielder Alan Smith - Gutierrez - Left & right wing Ben Arfa - Attacking midfielder/left wing Obertan - Right wing/right forward Other then that I agree with the rest. This is only my perception btw, before anyone feel the need to slag me off.

I hate the "doesn´t matter what fee he's being sold for, as it won´t be reinvested in the team any way" line. Well, it may not be reinvested, but for some reason I can´t stand the thought of Liverpool getting a coup on him. They should fucking pay what he's worth. Bleed them dry or tell them to fuck off.

But he still injured himself by coming back early for selfish reasons
-
Luckily Owen injured himself, while others have injured Ben Arfa.

Hope following Fat Sam, Nolan and the West Ham fans this season will give me lots of schadenfreude.

He really doesn´t know what he just signed up for, poor lad

Why are people so surprised? MA wants to cut the wage bill. That doesn´t happen if you replace like for like. It´s a painful process, but hopefully it will pay dividends in the end. The Carroll money were a large one-time sum, and using it on transfer fees only would just result in a bigger wage bill that the normal revenue would have problems to sustain.

I seriously doubt we went in thinking we could get Barnetta for 40k and passed on it because he wanted 45k like... http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n286/FantazDick/motivational%20posters/CommonSense.jpg

Which is a stupid rule anyway. You pay for a ticket to see a full match, not at least 60 minutes of one. Might feel unfair, but it´s a live event, and they can´t help if the weather is bad. See nothing wrong in claiming force majeure in events like today. Any kind of refund should be appreciated, but not expected.

Di Natale is getting on a bit now aswell, and without the support of Sanchez can't see him having a season anything close to his last 2. Totò gets better with age. Fully expect another 20+ goal season from him tbh. Didn't they sell Zapata as well? Their fans must be more disspointed than us that the club could not hold on to their best players even with CL competition. No, cause they know that this is the owner's way to run a football club and he's always been pretty clear about Udinese being a selling club irrespective of the results they achieve. Nah, I don't buy it. If we got to the CL this season, with Ben Arfa, Cabaye and Coloccini playing the season of their lives, and we sold them while Ashley came out before the season started and said we were going to be a selling club irrespective of results, would you accept it?

Didn't he score two past our reserves this season?

Still feel sorry for Leverkusen that year. 2nd in the league, cup and CL, and their best players had already agreed terms with other clubs the following season making it impossible to redeem themselves.
-
Agree, but on the other hand, another pet hate of mine is people claiming one club is bigger than another because it has more trophies even if they are not relevant anymore, and backing it up with "football existed before the premier league".
-
Awesome! Really? Just embarrasing to watch. How anyone over 14 find that amusing is beyond me.

While the content in the thread isn´t very funny, one of the thousand thread titles is pretty funny. "life after Zog"

This. No need for another left footed french winger/midfielder when we already got Ben Arfa and Marveaux.

I honestly don´t hear whats wrong with his pronunciations of any names mentioned so far 28 mins into the commentary.
