As a Norwegian and a fan of football, I find it funny how little I care about Norwegian football. I lived 200 meters from the stadium of my local team IK Start for almost three years, and I went maybe four or five times. They were (and still are) a top flight team. Shit league, over paid players. I only watch the occasional match on tv now, and follow them in the news.

Is that £24m shared among the rest of the teams for next season, or will it be distributed over the same amount of years?

Zolton has a point regarding mulumbu imo. Cost less, scored vital goals while protecting their defence. Even if his defensive qualities isn't as good as tiotes, there is the arguement that his overall contribution combined with transfer fees and wages surpasses Tiote. I'd love him to partner Tiote in our midfield. Or how about a midfield trio of Tiote, Mulumbu and that similar guy from wigan? They would run circles around a6 man midfield even.

If that's the case, and Ashely pulls it off, and Enrique signs an acceptable contract, then fair play to him. Players can bargain with the fact that they can get a better pay elsewhere, so I don't see a problem with clubs bargaining that they can easily replace the players.
