Kind of glad that I have an exam on thursday. That will prevent me from hitting the F5 four times each hour on here.

"Real radio" priced out of live commentary next season.

Really? I thought it was because Giggs "always" scores irritating late winners for Man Utd, so when someone was late when reporting something spectacular they "did a Giggs". -
I don´t think Tevez can help it. He´s just plain stupid. If he wasn´t blessed with the skills he has, he would probably be lurking around in Argentina somewhere with a village idiot reputation.

It would certainly justify the Carroll sale. Don't know how good we would actually be.

F*uck that, he looks Mongolian anyway. His shooting looked really poor as well. Meh, rather have Park Chu Young. http://images.cheezburger.com/completestore/2010/8/11/807759b9-46b0-461a-9b18-ef7fad90ce82.jpg

Would be a decent coup this. But what is this? For how long would he be missing? "[...]he still has to complete military service in his home country unless he wins a medal at the 2012 Olympics." <The "Park Chu-Young National Service Status" summary> Basically, the guy needs to go to the military. He's got three options. (1) He can go back to Korea and play for our Army team for two years. Our Army team plays in the first division so it's still a reasonably high standard of football. Players can only apply for the Army team before their 28th birthday, so he would have to return to Korea for two years after completion of the 2012/2013 season. (2) Alternatively, he could play for the Police Force team for two years instead. The Police Force team accepts players until their 30th birthday, so he could continue his career in Europe up to the 2014/2015 season. However, the Police Force team plays in our second division so once he's released at 32 years of age he's probably done as a top-level player. (3) The final option is to just sit on it and see out his career, and then go enlist as a soldier for two years just like everybody else. Trust me, you do not want to enlist as a soldier in the ROK Armed Forces at 35 years of age. It sucks. Bad. This isn't really an option. (4) Well, I guess he could just go and win a medal at the London Olympics, securing a legal exemption. Good luck with that. And yes, this situation is ridiculous and does suck. Can he not just never return to South Korea? That´s what I would do at least.

Never heard of him. Is he any good?

I'd honestly love to know how I could get to work there, as working in football administration would be one of my dream jobs. I suppose they just come offer you a job if you're old, overweight, and corrupt? Something like that yeah Im currently a work in progress. Stopped playing football at 15, and I want to be a old funky man in a cushy job.

Pockets full, Ashelys will be. http://loyalkng.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/yoda.jpg

I´ve been thinking. FIFA must be an awesome place to work. No moral dilemmas, real boys club mentality and do as you please as long as the company makes money. I need to re-evalueate my career path.

Back on twitter and facebook. Somethings on.....

So true. What on earth is wrong with you people? Honestly. Take it you think he is a really professional guy. Right man for the job. Of course he does. No room for a balanced opinion on here.

It means we can keep the likes of Barton and Nolan around next year without committing ourselves to paying them for four years after that. In twelve months time I'd like to think we'll have moved beyond counting them as cornerstone players. Another positive in the negative is that Barton/Nolan will hopefully try to up their game for us to improve their reputation to find a club that is willing to meet their demands, be it us or somebody else.
-
Depends. If he says something like he has accepted to reduce his wages to fit the wage structure, but wants a 4 year contract while the club is only offering him a 2 year contract, that would be pretty cool. Granted that this is the truth, it really puts pressure on the club to offer him a longer contract as Barton has showed compliance to meet the demands of the club, while nothing has gone the other way. Or it could go down horribly wrong....
-
Pussy. I agree with you though, and am willing to put my mouth where my piss is should I be wrong. So... If Kevin Nolan scores 12 Premiership goals again next season, I WILL PISS IN A CUP AND DRINK IT. It´s kind of a win-win situation. I would piss in a cup and drink it right now if it was guaranteed that Nolan would score 12 goals next season. If he doesn´t, well, you don´t have to drink your own piss.
-
I think he will be a good player for 4 years, if not more. The fact that he has quit drinking alcohol can prolong his career quite significantly. If he eats healthy as well, he will probably be at the same level at 33 even.

Is there a speed dial-like reply function on this board I haven´t found yet? Meaning? Each time something "negative" comes out, these kind of posts pops up every time like clockwork. It´s a huge made up stereotype/generalization, as I don´t think anyone likes the people in charge. There are people who like to point out things they think Ashley & co does right though, or explain why they do certain things and how that could be good for the club, to counter the endless abuse going on here. Rightly so. Does not mean they jump to defend them. So many people bash anything they do already, so I personally don´t see any point in doing it as well. I do think a lot of the things they do are wrong and stupid, but I like to balance things out and instead voice my opinion when I think they are doing something that is good to the club to get a better discussion going. Just seems like when someone points out that the thing people are criticizing the board for(what ever it may be, as everything is always Ashley/Derek/the boards fault) is not actually all that bad, it´s like they have insulted them in some way, and are promptly labelled as an Ashley lover etc. With that being said, I do hope that those quotes are just a way to counter the recent quotes from McKay. Barton could still be a good player at 32 as long as he doesn´t suffer any serious injuries, and he should be in the top earning bracket in the club. He should not earn more than the wage structure/limit permits though.

He's technically brilliant. In the right set up, he'd make a superb PL striker. That might be, but if you youtube Gameiro and Guivarc´h, they are pretty similar in style. Just hope we don´t put all our eggs in this one basket, as he is far from guaranteed to be a good striker in the PL based on the physical attributes a successful PL striker usually has.
-
Im not sure. Said it before, say it again. He looks alarmingly like a new Guivarc´h. Doesn´t seem to have any stand out abilities. Not sure he can handle the PL.
-
Daniele De Rossi, obviously.

Was thinking the exact same thing.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Terrible performance. Fuck Tschoy. Knew he would cause some trouble. fucking dissapointing end to the season. No doubt Simpson et.al will come on twitter soon and spout some shit about unfortunate events but still a good season, when they were just not caring at the end. 9th sounds a lot better than 12th. It´s 7 am here now. Can´t believe I stayed up to watch this. I am MAD.
