But on the other hand May is a good month of Mondays.

Yes. He's been working on his physical condition when he was out. He's quicker and stops faster(?) from sprint than before his ban, so assume that comes with some more muscle mass too.

Quoted. Just in case

Man City don't need to spend much when they can just grab the top talents from their player farms around the world and slap a symbolic transfer fee on them to hide/mask the abuse of multi club ownership.

Seems a waste to stagnate his career just to play second fiddle to Lewis Miley. He made the right choice staying at Sunderland.

Without a doubt, but it's based on bringing back a former player into todays squad, that would play all the time. Feels a bit wasteful to bring back f.ex Shearer when we have Isak now, or Lee when we already have so good central midfielders, or Ginola when we have Gordon and Barnes etc.

I fear I'd not be able to stop myself from spitting in his face if I ever met Pardew in person for the way he mismanaged Ben Arfa. Simply the most enjoyable player to watch that has ever played for us. If I could cast a spell and bring one player in his prime back to the club today that had to play every minute of every game it would be him. Howe would just have to cope and deal with the half arsed pressing and tracking back.

Decent club. Newly promoted, but a fairly regular player in the top division so hopefully not as weak as the newly promoted club Kuol went to.

A bit harsh. I think Joelinton has been our best midfielder so far this season. If anything its the other two that needs to step up imo They will be a fearsome threesome though!

It's only fair that we all acknowledge that he is in fact not Harry Potter.

Maybe not at the prices Man Utd paid for them, but I'd love Højlund, Yoro, Martinez, Ugarte, De Ligt and Zirkzee here. Lots of quality and potential.

I do wonder what's happend to him physically (and maybe mentally?) though. Looking at older footage of him, he is noticeably slower and way less agile than he used to be. You never see him pull off some of those "easy" but effective dribbles to get away from his man anymore. He seems incapable of turning with the ball unless he's got like 3-4 seconds in order to pass forwards. It's like watching a completely different footballer

He's not Longstaff, which seems to be enough for an uncomfortable amount of people among our support.

Did the #23 jersey justice with a performance like today.

Is ETH trying to ressurect Brandon Williams' career?
