  1. Yeah, noticed that too. Got into some great positions in the box, but the delivery never came. Think Willock was trying to get his move to Fulham in the summer the goof.

Yeah, they usually pull the news from some source, so just shared where it likely originated from.

Tall attacking midfielder that can play as a number 10 or a number 8. Would be a decent alternative just off a striker if they stick with the 4-2-3-1 setup.
  5. If Howe had set us up against West Ham, like he did yesterday, Spurs would be in the Championship right now.

Play a narrow formation where he can get crowded out even more with a bunch of players around him and less space for him to get on the ball and make things happen. Made perfect sense.
  8. Isn't that the guy that they all celebrated getting called up for the World Cup for Cape Verde or something?! Not a bad week for him
  9. No way That why Pep's done a runner and Marescha has come in as he's got experience in the Championship for if they go down the season after?
  10. Yeah, think his people have been unbelievably disrespectful with all the noise and hawking about everywhere. Couldn't even wait till the end of the season. Been going on since January for goodness sake.
  11. Yeah, hated the sub. Once the system was changed he started finding better positions and coming into the game. Only to get yanked for the goofy Wissa, who did absolutely nothing.
  12. Could see he was fuming when he came off. He was completely fed up. Didn't have a great game, but the setup the team started with certainly didn't help. Need to do right by this guy. He deserves a better team around him and more of an opportunity to be more competitive.
  13. So what on Earth was the story with this guy? Sick of him and all.

Yeah, they've very much got something sustainable in place as far as their whole setup is concerned. Newcastle better get their stuff together and get this summer right, because I don't think they're going to just suddenly fall away after this season.
  15. This is what makes things so uncomfortable. I would love to see Howe figure it out and turn things around, but Iraola being available is a potentially big opportunity. He does seem better suited to how the club needs to operate going forward as you've mentioned. No guarantees on how anything would work out for sure, but at this point I'm just as uncertain about Howe getting things back on track. Will just have to accept and go with whatever decision is made and hope for the best I guess.

Surprises me more and more every game with how ineffective he is when he comes on. Just unbelievable. It's embarrassing.
  17. I think Hopkinson is a top appointment tbh. His resume is no joke. I also think Wilson will be fine too. I'm most worried about Howe out of all the three. Just don't understand some of the decisions he's making with his teams. Just have to hope he figures it out.

    Dan Burn

Not his fault he keeps getting put in the left back role and is always going to do his best for the team. Still think he's a really good option as a backup at centre back. It's a shame the manager is putting him in this awkward position.
  19. One thing that scares me about Eddie, is that he really thinks playing the likes of Murphy in any position, and shoehorning Burn into the team, is good for the team because of their "leadership". They're always straight back into the first team so quickly, after a brief exclusion when they're struggling. Burn should be backup/rotation for Botman and that is it. Murphy should not be starting games anymore and certainly not at the end of the season that is a write off, and the manager is supposed to be figuring stuff out for next season, he should be on his way out the door.
  20. You know ... I really thought a part of him forcing Burn into the team was to ensure he got a World Cup place and that wasn't jeopardised, which I don't agree with at all, but could somewhat understand. Could not believe it when I saw he was starting again today, even after the World Cup squad had been announced and his place had been sealed. We've ended the game with him looking clumsy and awkward at left back again. Then you have Murphy starting on the right again despite being in tragic form and with no reason for him to be in there as he is one that should be moving on now. Does he actually still think this guy is a viable option going forward?! I actually think he does ... Couldn't believe that they both started and really can't understand why.
  21. All he had to do was start with the same team he did last week. People could have got behind that and enjoyed seeing if any further encouragement and optimism could be had. Awful setup to start and it just set the tone for a poor performance, poor result and much more negative end to the season. To make it worse for Eddie Sunderland have turned up and beaten Chelsea on the last day to seal a Europe League place! Terrible day.
  22. To make this all even worse we've effectively kept Spurs up by beating West Ham last week
  23. Barnes too easy to defend on the left. Can't make space to get anything off.
  24. Hall can't use his right foot and he's playing at right back. Trying to dribble back onto his left again and losing the ball.
