ASM should have scored! Heavy touch going round the keeper. ASM looks in good nick though.

Pretty surprising that. Must include a release clause.

We've been linked with some very young CBs. We may well bring one in to bed in with the view of eventually taking over from Burn/Schar next season.
-
As we won't be in Europe think this is a good move. Botman and Thiaw with Burn and Schar as more experienced options is perfectly fine.

He's more of an attack minded manager's full back. Not surprised Tuchel hasn't taken him. Hall takes risks with the ball in some dangerous areas, and defensively he can be shaky, especially when he hasn't had Joelinton supporting and covering him on that left side.

God, I hope they get the next appointment wrong. It better not be Iraola.
-
Could also be advantageous if there's a relationship there already.

Yeah, I remember he had a horror injury at the start that pretty much kept him out for the whole season. Looks like he's fully recovered now and has had a very good run back in Brazil.

Newcastle are interested in Botafogo midfielder Danilo. Botafogo are looking for a €40 million offer. The midfielder is also a target for Palmeiras, Manchester United, and Flamengo. ESPN Newcastle Internally, there are discussions about making a move to acquire Danilo from Botafogo ., and a target for clubs like Manchester UnitedPalmeiras and FlamengoThe information was obtained by ESPN this Wednesday (20). There has been no specific move yet on the part of the Magpies to acquire the Brazilian national team midfielder. The report revealed that the decision to move forward with negotiations will be made by coach Eddie Howe after evaluating the squad at the end of the current season. The coach knows and likes the Botafogo player. However, a multi-million dollar offer would need to make sense for Newcastle, who are still considering the possibility of making a move for that position, for example, if they were to lose a player in that position to the international market.

I imagine the Villa players will be delighted too. Probably should be taking that into account as well, as it will absolutely matter to players. If we want to keep good players and keep attracting more of them too, we probably shouldn't be turning our noses up at any sort of trophy.

If this is so easy to win at the minute, all the more reason to get in there and try to get one or more At least Villa and Emery have some Pedigree. Imagine one of Bournemouth or Brighton winning this next season while Newcastle aren't even in any competition
-
This does a lot for their European ranking too right? Pretty disgraceful Newcastle look to have failed to get into any European competition next season.

Buendia screamer! Great goal.
-
Great goal Tielemans!

Bournemouth given Liverpool 5th place and all. That goofball Brooks spurning those two chances late on man.
-
I don't know. Feel like Cherki has been the main creator for them recently and he's benched him for Kovacic.
-
Woltemade has typically played just off another striker that looked to run in behind, previous to joining Newcastle.
-
I had a look to see if we'd been linked to any player that could potentially play off the striker, and who is also versatile enough to play as an 8, and that has had a decent return of goals and assists this season. We've been linked with the young Danish player Victor Froholdt at Porto who fits the bill. Mostly played as an 8 at Porto but has played as a 10 for Denmark recently. https://bold.dk/fodbold/klubber/fc-porto/nyheder/froholdt-til-premier-league-tre-topklubber-er-forelsket

I find the "it was only West Ham" chatter hilarious tbh, both in terms of the team's performance against them and now Osula The team has looked awful all season pretty much against everyone in the league. And so of course now there appears to be a bit of hope they're onto something with the new setup and with Osula's performances it's because "it was only West Ham" Regarding Osula specifically, one thing that's actually quite encouraging is that he came into the team and started scoring even when the team was still playing crap. With the team then playing better on Sunday he looked even more threatening as a result. Very good sign IMO.

Pep's football is slow and predictable. Just with better players.

Arsenal's football is just tragic man. I don't think they're going to get a result away against Palace. Lets see if Man City are able to win their remaining two, because I'm not sure they'll manage that either against Bournemouth and Brentford.
