For those kind of fees I'd imagine most would be.
-
They'll be in the Champo again next season and he is going into the final year of his contract this summer.
-
I genuinely think they're all staying as I don't see anyone coming in for Wissa or Woltemade for any kind of fee that makes sense. Probably would have looked at a younger striker if Osula had left, but he's stepped up recently and is more likely to stay and be given much more opportunities to play next season challenging Wissa. Ideally, I think they should be cutting their losses with Wissa and going and getting another number 1 guy, but I'm not sure they will.
-
Would be a smart low fee backup in that position. Exactly the sort of player that should be coming in to build up the squad. Hopefully there's some truth in the rumour.

Eddie Howe suggested Newcastle will not be in the market for a striker this summer. Yoane Wissa and Nick Woltemade both arrived for big money last summer following the departure of Alexander Isak, but have struggled to replicate the Sweden international’s impact. But asked if a centre-forward is on the list of priorities this summer, the Newcastle boss said: “Certainly not at the moment, because in terms of the striker numbers we’ve got, we’ve got healthy numbers in that position. “I’d say it’s been a challenge for us, trying to find the right balance, trying to find a way to continually score goals and create the amount of chances that we want to. I don’t think we’re quite there yet. “I think we’ve got work to do in that area but obviously Yoane (Wissa) has had fitness struggles, Will Osula has really grown late into the season and I think he’s done really well in recent games, of course Anthony (Gordon) has played there, Nick (Woltemade) has played there and done well earlier in the season. “I think the players are there, we’ve just got to try and bring it all together and make it work.”

They paid £65.5 million for an older Luis Diaz whose best output has not matched Gordon's best output in the same league, even though he was playing in a better team. Thinking they'll get away with paying £50 million for Gordon would be some level of delusion on their part.

Pretty much what the article is saying. Those clubs aren't really prioritising him as a starter, which he wants. His contract is up too after this season, and he's not going to get that huge salary he was on previously at Juve again, and so it will depend on what his best offer is as a starting striker somewhere, whether that be at Juve again or elsewhere.

Vlahovic, the clubs at the window Then came Barcelona, whose situation is a huge question mark: they're negotiating with Bernardo Silva, they have to decide what to do with Lewandowski , they'll probably buy Rashford. And Vlahovic ? No, he's not a priority. And it wouldn't be one for Atletico Madrid either , the last to have approached the Serbian after a flirtation a year ago, the idea even floating around in January. For the Madrid club, Dusan would be a name to start with in the event of Sorloth's sale. He'd have those minutes. Something more for Newcastle , who have inquired about his terms and conditions but who won't be playing in the Champions League , a necessary condition to attract the centre-forward's attention.
-
To be fair, he did come in very very late in that window. Will be interesting to see if they cook something up to try and get more out of him that benefits the team, now the season's done. It's just such a shame that it's a World Cup summer, as that won't help things. Then again maybe they can pick things up from how he's used in the Germany setup. Hope he does well in the tournament and they scout those games.

Latest on Bayern's Gordon pursuit: As far as how committed the Bavarians are to this pursuit, it appears that the the club has all of the necessary support, including from the notoriously fickle and frugal supervisory board. Per Sport Bild journalists Christian Falk and Heiko Niedderer (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich is aligned internally on getting Gordon: The supervisory board is fully behind the transfer of Anthony Gordon and want to back Max Eberl in order to complete the move. Nevertheless, Newcastle’s asking price would have to be brought down. Gordon wants to join Bayern. It is hard to think about when was the last time that everyone at Bayern Munich was aligned on anything, let alone a potential transfer. While there will be a limit to how far Bayern Munich will go to get Gordon, it appears that the club has made it a primary goal for the summer transfer window. Think they're going to end up paying up. They ended up paying a total package of £65.5 million for an older Diaz last summer, and all of their recent Prem imports have worked out incredibly well, in Kane, Olise and Diaz. Kane is also encouraging the move too allegedly. Think this is going to happen and we'll get something like £70 million plus £5 million or more in extras.

Article has a bit more info and a slightly more realistic price than the 75 million Euros that guy was stating.

PSG transfer news: Newcastle ready to make a big move for a player frustrated by Luis Enrique? Gonçalo Ramos and PSG : the end of the romance before it even began? This is the hotly contested scenario currently unfolding behind the scenes at the Parc des Princes. Between inconsistent playing time and Luis Enrique's tactical demands, the Portuguese striker finds himself at a crossroads. And in this game of cat and mouse, it's the Premier League that could well win the day with an offer Paris can't ignore. Starved of playing time, the Portuguese forward might just put away his holsters and head across the Channel to try his luck. Is Newcastle ready to go to extreme lengths to revive Ramos' career? Newcastle's Saudi-owned project needs a jolt. Sitting in a disappointing and worrying 13th place in the Premier League, the Magpies are craving fresh blood, raw talent, and above all, goals. According to journalist Sébastien Vidal, the Parisian striker is one of the most sought-after players within the Magpies' ranks. While the lack of European competition is a major obstacle to their sporting appeal, the financial argument is devastating. Newcastle knows, however, that they will have to overpay to compensate for their absence from the top five. To lure the Portuguese player away from the capital, the Tyneside club's management will have to pull out all the stops. A salary exceeding €8-9 million per year is being discussed to convince Ramos to become the new face of the Magpies, a significant increase compared to his current earnings. But PSG, while open to selling, will not give him away. Paris Saint-Germain's management is demanding a minimum of €65 million, the same amount they invested in 2024 to lure Ramos away from Benfica. The situation is complex: PSG wants to free up a spot to recruit a striker more in line with Luis Enrique's playing philosophy, while Newcastle is looking for a fresh start to avoid sinking into mid-table obscurity. Under contract until 2028, Gonçalo Ramos faces a dilemma: cling to his Parisian dream or become the king of St. James' Park. https://www.jeunesfooteux.com/Mercato-PSG-Newcastle-pret-a-frapper-fort-pour-un-frustre-de-Luis-Enrique_a80101.html

Yes, would look nice decorating the bench beside Woltemade as he can't run fast enough to press.
-
Wemby has Congolese heritage goofy.
-
Oh ... so you claim him now? You don't want your boy Quickley back any more? He still in the league? I still remember Mike. I'll never forget Mike.
-
If I make a few calls Anunoby sits out games with a phantom injury. Don't push it.

Folarin Balogun was born in New York City USA. He was raised in the UK and represented England all through his youth and then switched allegiances to the USA as a senior player.

Linked with Abdessamad Ezzalzouli aka Ez Abde. Possible Gordon replacement. https://www.diariodesevilla.es/realbetis/emisarios-newcastle-vienen-ver-abde-betis-elche-aston-villa_0_2006753484.html https://barcauniversal.com/barcelona-unlikely-to-re-sign-former-winger-amid-interest-from-newcastle-united-and-aston-villa/

Linked with Arsenal, Barcelona and PSG but I'm sure Ross Wilson can sway him
-
Thought it was just as puzzling that Simeone wanted him. Don't think he really suits his style and it's been a bit of a waste of his overall talents. He has 8 goals in the league for them this season and 17 last year. He's been out scored by Sorloth both seasons in the league despite Sorloth being the backup striker. Think ideally Simeone wants more size and presence upfront.
-
Could see him doing really well in Spain. Would be a nice move for him I think. If they sell Alvarez they should have a lot of money to spend too, and so hopefully they can bid a decent amount. Article says they expect for both Sorloth and Griezmann to leave this summer too. So big changes to their front line it looks like.
