They're never signing Solanke man
-
Interesting bit from the Athletic article a couple of days ago, regarding a striker. Whether Nick Woltemade and/or Yoane Wissa remain on Tyneside is still to be determined — as things stand, sources have told The Athletic that Will Osula is actually the most likely of the three strikers to stay beyond the summer — yet, regardless of the fate of that pair who cost a combined £119million ($161.4m) in August, Howe wants to sign another centre-forward who can press and is a penalty-box finisher. The striker market is hardly booming right now, however, and Newcastle are likely to sign a player with promise, rather than a proven marksman. If all three strikers stay and another is still looking to be added, then I think we're going to see some players used in other positions, and another setup introduced that the team can play in more often. Wissa will probably play more on the left, especially if Gordon leaves, and Woltemade used as more of a support striker with a partner ahead of him, when he's in the team.

Jan Ziółkowski is likely to leave AS Roma in the summer transfer window. According to Italian media reports, AS Roma expects around 20 million euros for Jan Ziółkowski, while Checco Oddo Casano reported that the club would like to receive 20-25 million euros for selling him. In an interview with Goal.pl, Federico Liuti from Forzaroma.info commented that 20 million euros is a reasonable price for Ziółkowski, especially in the Premier League, where Newcastle United is interested in him. Liuti added that if a satisfactory offer appears, Ziółkowski will leave AS Roma in the summer. He also stated that Roma must sell someone to raise funds before June 30, and with a good offer, Ziółkowski will be one of the players to depart.

Yeah, but talking about what they're going to be doing next season isn't really necessary either. Besides ... we're not fooling anyone by playing coy over Wissa. Everyone knows it's been a disaster

Felt bad for Kane. When he was in there the dufus wingers were constantly cutting in looking to shoot.
-
Look how fired up the PSG sideline were with every win their players have on the pitch. Great energy this team has now. Wonder what Mbappe is doing at the minute. Back to back finals as soon as he left town. Joker.
-
The game is over here and Marquinhos is ensuring more time is added on.
-
Diaz is still cutting into traffic and losing the ball in the 92nd minute
-
My God ... maybe Alphonso Davies will hit the by-line and cross the ball. These other jokers keep cutting back into traffic. I mean, it's not like Kane is decent in the air or anything.
-
Do Bayern know they're allowed to go down the outside and get a ball into the box?
-
Will probably just loan him out for loan fees and getting his salary covered until his deal is up or take a loss on him.
-
Yeah, I saw. But then after Howe was going on about him just needing a full pre season and there was more to come It would make the most sense for him to move on with how well Osula is getting on now. Keep the two younger ones that can still keep improving.
-
Musiala for sure had to take one of those chances man!
-
Olise's been poor.
-
Yeah, also talked about how he liked his link up with Wissa in the Arsenal game and that being a potential partnership in future.
-
Yeah, they did. It was in the summer prior to the January window we signed him in, but at the time Everton were asking for £60 million.
-
Every time Howe talks about the strikers it sounds like they'll all be here next season, and so who knows, you might be right.

According to SPTC insider Simon Phillips, Chelsea held talks with Anthony Gordon's representatives during the weekend to discuss a potential transfer. After these talks, Gordon's representatives communicated that the player was not interested in joining the club. The reasons given were that the club currently has no permanent manager, is in a mid-table position in the Premier League, and is undergoing significant off-field uncertainty. Phillips also notes that Chelsea are unlikely to completely stop their pursuit, and that the appointment of a new permanent manager along with an improved wage offer may still be presented.

We were linked with Summerville a lot before he joined West Ham. Wouldn't be at all surprised. Prioritising Premier League experience is still going to be a thing if the players are within the right range fee wise. I have no doubt about it. Summerville with a relegation release clause. Curtis Jones in the last year of his contract from this summer. Might as well start preparing yourselves.
-
Yeah, kept seeing him turn out really good performances during that period Alisson was out and Liverpool fans really rated him highly. Thought for the fee it was a no brainer really. At the very least he would have been a solid reliable keeper we could then bring in a younger prospect behind. Was a great pick up for Brentford and he'll likely be in Europe with them next year now, so fair play to them.

Man City still delaying getting the ball in the box. So obsessed with keeping possession they don't even know how to chase a game.
-
Instead of staying aggressive like they were before they got the goal, Man City have just been messing about with the ball passing side to side. Neither Semenyo or Doku running at their full back anymore just passing sideways and backwards. Playing with zero urgency even though they have to be mindful of goal difference and all. Bizarre stuff.

Nope, made no sense.
-
So Chelsea are having a better season and how has that worked out for him exactly?! Your comment makes no sense. He doesn't fit the way they play at all, and it's been a terrible campaign for him. He had a much better season the season before in a team that got relegated.

Serves Delap right, would have not gone this badly for him at Newcastle.
