  1. Can't stand Liverpool man. Disgustingly jammy.
  2. Can you imagine Newcastle coming back from 3-1 down against Villa at their place at the minute? Don't understand how Sunderland have been so much better this season. It's quite embarrassing.
  3. The way Liverpool play under Slot he's just not getting enough touches and involvement to get into any kind of rhythm. Very very different from how we played. Serves him right. And he is now HAULED OFF!!!
  4. I think Gakpo hates Isak. Refuses to pass to him every single time. Love to see it
  5. Does any other club suffer goal keeper injuries like Liverpool do?! It's ridiculous
  6. Hopefully Woodman has a howler and chucks it in his own net.
  7. Dewsbury-Hall has been a heck of a signing for Everton. Great assist.
  8. Yes Beto! Get in man!
  9. Of course ... Disgustingly bad from McNeil.
  10. Oh no ... O'Brien is offside.
  11. Get in N'Diaye! Well deserved. Liverpool stink.
  12. Can't believe how awful Liverpool's play is man.
  13. Yeah, they are actually pretty decent.

I've watched this a few times out of rage and disgust and I can't get over how casually he reacts to what is happening Once I got over that ... what a pattern of play that was from Bournemouth. They absolutely destroyed us with that passing and movement. My God. Absolutely filled with envy at that football. Other points I picked up ... Trippier spots the problem early and is screaming about Truffert being allowed to run forward without being picked up and Murphy doesn't react still. Felt so sad for Thiaw in this move, who is having to stop multiple players. Manages to slow down Truffert and force the ball wide to Tavernier initially, while then recovering to try and block the cross. All for nowt because of the lack of effort from others. So tough to watch.
  15. I just never get the impression that the players are given enough direction of how to create overloads or mismatches that can be exploited. All feels very random, freestyle and chaotic. We don't seem to have any obvious patterns of play in build up or in the final third. It's awful.

He'd only just come on and so you'd think he'd have more energy to get back. Couldn't even scream at one of his team mates to pick the guy up as he was lagging behind. If he had done maybe Tonali does a better job of covering for him, even though he should have seen the danger anyway. Funnily enough, he did the exact same thing against Palace in the last game. Dived in and missed a tackle higher up the pitch and jogged back while Mitchell, who he should have been tracking, got into the box and lashed it across goal for Maeteta to score. He is infuriating.
  17. Incredibly enough, we haven't had a player capable of properly playing that position throughout Howe's tenure It drives me crazy

This is really where I'm at right now, unfortunately. There's too many players not performing and the manager has to figure things out to get more out of them. There doesn't seem to be any specific plan out there. Howe has spoken of a fluid system, but these players aren't good enough to have that kind of freedom. The wingers are suffering the most as they're all pretty one dimensional in different ways, but aren't being positioned to capitalise on their srengths. A better tactical approach would improve the team significantly, even with the set of players we're watching at the minute.
  19. I'd drop him along with Gordon and Tino the rest of the way tbh. Don't know if all the transfer speculation is getting to these guys or what. The team we finished with is what we should be looking to start with the next few games. Miley and Bruno in midfield with Woltemade playing off Osula. God knows what we do on the wings. Maybe try Barnes back on the right again, with Ramsey on the left where he also played at Villa? Maybe Ramsey and Willock out wide? No idea.
  20. That's 4 Premier League goals now from 455 mins of action, so pretty much 5 full games mins wise. This is in a team currently having a crisis as far as the wingers are concerned and where the midfield has pretty much been non existent with Bruno out, and so no quality chances are being created. He's comfortably outperforming his expected goals. Somehow he's finding a way to score goals. Be interesting to see if this continues till the end of the season. Ideally he'd be second/rotation option to a more experienced leading striker, but who knows what will happen. Worst case scenario his current play will be adding more to his fee at least, should he end up leaving, and if he does I think this guy is going to end up a good striker down the line.
  21. I often wondered why we were hearing so much about Andy Howe last summer and not Steve Nickson. Nickson is experienced enough that he was considered for the DOF role at one point and I have no doubt he has a list of players that he'd readily have suggested. Seems he wasn't leaned on as much as perhaps he should have been and was given more of a back seat.
  22. I just don't understand his approach at the minute. I think giving Osula a run upfront has been a big call that has paid off so far as he's scored in both games. Why stop there though? Just play Woltemade with him upfront and shake things up further and lets see if we can make something else work. Even if it didn't work out he'd at least get some credit for trying something else. Things are not going well anyway. Can't help but feel he's just shooting himself in the foot further by being so rigid tactically. It's so weird.
