Yeah, I'm with you. Would love a defensive monster in there. Especially with Joelinton and Bruno getting into their 30s now. Ugarte is at the very top when it comes to winning the ball back, and just keeps it relatively simple with his passing. Could work alongside Bruno who looks to take charge in midfield anyway. Part of the problem with Ugarte at Man United was that they didn't have a partner alongside him to control in midfield. Casemiro is not that guy and Fernandes is more of a 10 who didn't really work deeper. At PSG he was just completely unsuited to a more possession heavy style.

Not sure why Tanaka doesn't play more for Leeds. Like the look of him every time he does feature for them.

Arsenal are an absolute disgrace man. Gone out to a Southampton that started a weakened side for goodness sake. While we keep getting Man City and Liverpool.

Having a really good season at Monaco and so not surprised to see his name pop up, especially having previously come through at Arsenal where he was once highly rated as a youngster. https://www.jeunesfooteux.com/AS-Monaco-un-chouchou-de-Pocognoli-convoite-par-Newcastle_a79623.html

Actually looking forward to how the whole situation forces them to operate in the market going forward. Wouldn't be at all surprised if it leads to the club doing much better business. Could be the catalyst that was needed.

Will probably get injured and/or have another slow start to the new season at Liverpool after being away and then coming back late.
-
There's something seriously wrong with them. They are impossibly insufferable.

A couple of names out of Belgium that have been doing the rounds. Two very experienced youngsters that will likely be for depth in the full back and DM positions. Joaquin Seys and Nathan De Cat. https://www.voetbalnieuws.be/news/893703/jpl-hot-in-engeland-seys-en-de-cat-naar-zelfde-club
