On SSN, £16m. Seems a bit of a bargain in this modern world of footballer prices.

Haven't Barca put a bid in for him?
-
Cos he's a tough tackling midfielder......(to the tune of That's Amore) When he leaves you for dead Cos he's kicked you in the head, That's Tiote.....
-
Like...... Tiote, ooooooh ooooh, Tiote, ooooooooh ooooooooooh. He comes from Cote d'Ivore, He's better than Stevie G Tiote, ooooooh ooooh, Tiote, ooooooooh ooooooooooh. Couldn't be arse rhyming them? Sorry, is it not pronounced Ivory? EDIT: Nope, it's not. What a s*** attempt!

This, plus lately he is a permacrock. Not going to cry about it if we get him but we should be looking at a completely different type of player IMO. Yep, me too. You can tell he's not interested half of the time. He's a luxury player and won't put in a 'proper' shift.
-
I've got a feeling Martinez will get it right there and they'll stay up comfortably. He's got the right philosophy I think, just with s*** players. All his outfield players are foreign mercenaries. Bound to go down.
-
Agree with that. The last couple of games he keeps cutting inside into traffic when he should be getting it out wide and crossing it in for Carroll. Warnock was there for the taking, but he didn't take the chance.
-
This Very impressed with him last season, very Emre-esque but much stronger and quicker. West Ham fan on 606 described him as a poor man's Di Canio and frustrating to watch. If he can't cut it at West Ham - would you want him here?

Man U, Liverpool, Villa .....

Same. Mind with 4-4-2 and a decent lineup, I reckon we'll be a test for most teams at SJP this season. Morale is going to be a big thing this season. If we get a tonking this week we'll struggle but if we string a couple of decent results together at home (possible given our fixtures) it will stand us in good stead. Aye, Wolves after this and Blackpool at home. I would like to think we'd have 5 points at least from our next 3 fixtures.
-
Which one of our squad do you also consider a 'c***'? Bentley comes across as one. And we know Jenas is too.
-
Even if they do know, the fact that nothing is being done about it is ridiculous. As you said, all we can afford to do is buy players on the cheap and get players in on loan, but the fact of the matter is, we have failed to even do that successfully. But we don't know that. Hughton is renowned for not giving much away to the press. Take last season for example; we signed Hall, Van Aanholt, Routledge on the quiet and it was pretty much a surprise as we heard no news about this leading up to the signings. I'm sure we'll bring in more cover before the deadline.
-
Its just that its so f***ing hard to believe that Ashley and co do not realise how undermanned and lacking quality and think that everything will be ok. I cannot fathom how f***ing stupid they are to approach the tranfer market in the way they are. I'm sure Ashley and Houghton know that we're lacking quality, but if we've got no money to spend on decent players - what else can we do? We can only afford to buy players on the cheap and go for cheap loan deals.
-
I'll be watching it for the Steve McClaren interview. Various reporters are already commenting on his German twang in his accent.
-
I didn't really notice him, that's why I was asking. Suppose everyone was busy jizzing off over Ozil. I thought Muller had a better tournament, but he's not been linked with anyone.
-
yes, work laptop is crap why is it because i don't put capitals at the start of sentences? That and random apostrophes appearing for no reason.
-
Would have him here in a flash. I think teams might be reluctant to loan players to their immediate rivals. I doubt that we would count at Man City rivals.
-
Doesn't the devil appear if you say three times?
-
No cover for them though. Hughton sees that Perch can also play CB, so that's another option for him if Williamson/Colo get injured while Campbell's not fit That's scary. He's a bit slight to play in that position I would have thought.
-
He's Manchester based - he's bound to biased to the Cockney Reds.
-
If he stays fit (that's a big if) and on decent wages.
-
We're the perfect club for collecting these players; Butt, Smith, Nolan........
-
Except it came from a source that make up their rumours. Nasri injured, Ben Afra available; 2+2=5,000,001
